How to make casual trades?

    I came on here for help on getting pokemon that aren't available in my version (Platinum) like Glameow etc.

    The trading on here seems a bit advanced with lvl 1 shinies and such! I might go into that leel of trades in the future but for now I'm just starting off.

    Can anyone give me some help and tell me the best way to meet someone with a regular pokemon I'd like for a trade?

    Well you could always go to the Quick Trade thread, you just ask what pokemon you're looking for and maybe what you're offering and if someone has it they'll get in contact with you.
    If you have lots of pokemon you need and that you're able to trade or can provide services, you could make a shop :3
     
    A lot of people have sections in their shops for regular pokemon. Mine has shinies and rare ones at the top, but if you scroll down a little, it has all regular pokemon that I can breed and all the regular pokemon I'd want in return. There are some shops that only do shinies and events, but plenty do regular one's too. Sometimes that can be more fun.
     
    I wouldn't be able to offer anything special, I'm an amateur that hasn't really played since gold/silver.
