How to make pokemon a specific gender on battle?

    Hello!

    I have a very small question that i don't know if it has simple answer:

    See, my rival has a ralts, and that ralts is supposed to evolve to become a Gallade later in the game, but since ralts only evolves to gallade if it's a male, how can i make my rival's ralts to be always a male?

    Also, how can i keep consistency with my rival's pokemon on gender, since that's a kind of trainer that i will be encountering many times in the game, and i don't think players won't notice how everytime they fight his pokemon they get a sex change?...

    That feature (defining a trainer's Pokémon's gender) doesn't exist yet, but it will. The same goes for defining nature, ability, form, and maybe nickname.
     
    I was working on a tutorial to implement this before, but I ended up running into some technical issues and never completed it.
