okay all you really need are copys of the same charsets only different sizes
okay on the heros tab make a hero times how far into the backround you want to go on walk graphics make them all the same only differnt sizes(if you want a large map your going to need at least 20!)
okay to make a 3d map all you need is a 3d chipset now make sevaral auto start events(one for every step) on the 1st event make it start if your largest hero is in your party then in the event commands set if hero faces up(he'll still take a step only it will be into the backround)in the fork put cange party(swap your largest for your 2nd largest) then copy your auto start event only set it to star on your second largest who if steps farther in the backrond swap for your third lardgest and repeat over and again when you want to go back simply revearse every thing youve done
(and people thought no one could ever make a 3d game in rpg maker).
