How to make the Roost attack heal the Pokémon through the party, outside the battle system? The closest attack to this is Milkdrink, but it heals other Pokémon outside of itself ....

Best thing for when you want to emulate another effect is to look at the code for places where it does that thing.
So try looking at the code for moves like surf, aromatherapy, or soft-boiled etc.
