I'm trying to change Luxio/Luxray's type in Pokémon White 2 from Electric to Electric/Dark, but all tools for Pokémon/Stat Editing for Black 2/White 2 either don't work or have dead links, so I'm looking for how to manually edit the .narc file (a/0/1/6) in order to achieve this purpose. Thanks! (Or if someone could provide me with a working link for a Pokémon/Stat Editor that works with B2/W2 that'd be even better, but I'm not keeping my hopes up for that).

this is the only thing I could dig up... it's fully Japanese [?] but since you only want to edit types you should do fine with a translator. I'll try to do some more digging around for ya.

this is a huge file but it contains the tool I listed hopefully in english, it's pokemon rom changer B2W2

Thanks man! I really appreciate it! Sadly, both the English one and the Japanese one give errors whenever I try to select a Pokémon or go on the move editor (shown in the attached screenshot). The encounter slot editor works though!

EDIT: I think it's because it's using a ROM instead of .narc files. The editor I used to do this in Black & White 1 has the option to use either a ROM or .narc files. It gives the same error when I try to do it with the ROM, but works flawlessly when I try it with .narc files.

EDIT #2: I just tried it on a completely fresh ROM and it works! If there's a .narc editor that'd be great because I don't really want to have to redo my previous edits, but if there isn't then it's fine. You've really helped me out either way. Thanks!

No prob! :) Always glad to help. And it worked with a fresh rom because the developers of the program made 2 versions, one for clean/unpatched roms, and the other for hacked/patched roms. You could save your progress if you packed the narc back into the rom and opening it in version 2, however I couldn't find a link for it, all were leading to a removed file.

It's alright. I managed to save my previous edits by just extracting a/0/1/6 after I'd edited it from the fresh ROM and reinserted it in my previous ROM. Since this was the only Pokémon/stat edit that I've done (obviously, since I didn't have the editor for it before XD) I didn't have to redo anything. Thanks again!
