How to remove "Starting Over" message?

    Hey, I just started using Pokemon Essentials so I'm sorry if this is a really noob-ish question but here goes.

    When you get a Game Over, a message pops up that says something around the lines of "This message was triggered by the "Starting Over" switch".

    How do you stop this message from coming up?

    What happens when you black out? You go back home and your mother talks to you. Your mother is an event in a map. That's probably a good place to start looking.
