how would Global Warming affect Pokémon if they existed irl????? what kinds of things would Global Warming do to Pokémon???

The same thing that would happen in the real world. Atmospheric temperatures would rise melting ice caps causing oceans to rise. Mass climate shifts wiping out many species that can't adapt in time to exhausting heats and sheer colds.

Any Pokemon with the Thick Fat ability should survive, provided they find high ground before the ocean swallows up to 30% of landmass which segregates the regions further.

Do we want to go into Global Warming and mass extinction? Or Global Warming and accelerated evolution?

If it's like what we're experiencing now (the tempearures rising), Fire and Grass-types will be powered up, and Ice will be... melting?

If the polar caps melt and drown everything, then Team Aqua's goals will be realized...? Water Pokemon will be heated to evaporation? And maybe Thick Fat can also help Pokemon float in water?

So many mysteries to solve...
