How would your country look or feel like in the Pokemon world?

It would have a lot of surfing spots..and almost every town will be separated by seas. A bit rural and a bit industrialized.

Virginia as a pokemon region?
Well it would be a big rural area and the rest would be all grassy and normal. There would be Minnico, Tailow, Pidove and others. If you mean America in whole I have to say big cities and little cities like Unova mixed with Sinnoh. But since my hack's region is based on Hawaii, There would have to be an area like the Sevii Islands.

Hmm, let's find a way with which Godwin's law WOULDN'T apply...
Everyone would look like a stereotypical Bavarian, talk like a stereotypical Bavarian and act like a stereotypical Bavarian. And I wouldn't understand a single word of the various NPC's monologues.
At least there wouldn't be a lot of sea routes and snowy routes and no desert routes at all, gotta love continental temperate climate.

Poland would be a bit dull region full of factories, forests (mostly pine) and, OF COURSE, wastelands, country, small villages and a lot of apple plantations.
I don't think my country would look good as a Pokemon region. It's not very curious in landscape.
We would have lots of Pidove everywhere, Miltank in country, Venipede & Caterpie, (Mostly in forests or small villages) some Duckletts and Pachirisu in parks and forests.

Probably a very urban centre with increasingly rural outskirts. It'd be quite cool to have a Britain Region; start out in Lands End, head up through London and then across to Wales, travel through there to the coast, EPICLY MASSIVE WATER ROUTE, Ireland, EPICLY MASSIVE WATER ROUTE, Scotland and finally up to John O'Groats. Alternatively, have the other countries as sub regions post Elite 4 ala Sevii Isles.

That actually sounds like it would make a really cool region. If I ever get Photoshop on my computer again I'll probably make a region map like that.

Anyhoo, here's something I found on Deviantart and I'm from England so...

Poland is bit bland isn't it? I would defiantly get a Miltank as my starter and we would romp around Poland, and it would be AWESOME! Back on topic there would of tons of Pidgy and Pidove in Lodz.

As big as that looks, and as cool as it is, I could see it being very linear, and very bland.

Also, it really misuses Scotland. You could fit a couple towns or cities or a huge dungeon up there.

Also, I've been musing over the New England area as a Pokemon reigon, just as a hypothetical thing to toy with in my thoughts, and I could see Boston as some big-ass city, Rhode Island's weird islands as a Safari Zone, Springfield (MA) as a big amusement park place (ie; Six Flags New England), and Cape Cod as some post-E4 location. But that's just me.

Noob out.

EDIT: Oops, I forgot. You could have a shiny Lapras hide in that reigon's equivalent of Loch Ness.

I absolutely LOVE that idea!!!! :D

I live in England, have done for my whole life, never been abroad and seriously I hate this country. It would suck. Do Brazil as a region.

Since Japan is already done, I will be looking at Scotland. I think Scotland would have its own Pokemon League rather than sharing a league with the rest of the UK.
