    This is what I have planned for competitive play, I haven't decided on the sixth member yet, but it's going to be a physical sweeper of some sorts.

    good!ICOULD excpect more from your choice of pokemon depending on game...But were's your starter?That's what makes me think less about it.
     
    My Empoleon hit 100 before I learned of EVs T_T
    I suppose I could breed a Piplup...
     
    I don't like using starters, i always use it to complete the whole game so i can get the National Dex and to get my whole party

    Good team, but why shuckle even though it has good defense?
     
    Uh, Dark Mudkib, why do you have Rain Dance on Electrive? It's a much better attacker and you don't have Thunder, unless Rain Dance is a final move when Elective's about to be killed and your switching to a water Pokemon.
     
    There are better recipients of Rain Dance.

    Use Ice Punch/Fire Punch, Low Kick/Cross Chop, Earthquake, and Thunderpunch/Thunderbolt. If going for Bolt be sure to take some EVs from speed and put them in SAttk.
     
    Physical Rain Dance recipient? Qwilfish, DDKingdra, Toxicroak.
     
    I have Shuckle because of its high defense, my team is defense orientated. Shuckle is basically suppose to out-last the other pokemon as toxic wears it away.
     
    After Power Trick, Shuckle is a sitting duck. Be careful with that and only bring it in on things without physical attacks who can't OHKO you with a special attack.
     
    Can't you use Power Trick again to bring Shuckles defense back to normal?
