    How do you add the html that when you hover over a text more information pops up?

    That's not actually html, but rather something called title tags.

    [title=Hi]Guess what information is here?[/title]

    Guess what information is here?

    As seen there :)

    Thanks a lot, but do you have to do something else? Because when you posted the title tag it didn't show up as the bit at the bottom of it.

    She used the noparse tags in the first example, that's why.

    When you use those, the coding doesn't come into effect. It's perfect for showing someone how to use the code. :3

    Oh, thanks. I have a lot to learn :(

    Maybe this list will help you get started! It tells you about most of the BBCode we use here. There is a separate kind of code we can also use called CSS Code, for example I have used it in my signature to arrange the text and all that, but it's much harder to use than BBCode. If you're interested you can read about it here.

    Also, to avoid any confusion you may have, none of this is HTML code. HTML is unavailable to users since it could pose threats if abused. I believe that only Super Mods (?) and Admins are able to use it.

    Okay, thanks for all the information

    I'm not sure what you meant when you said the bit at the bottom of it, but if this helps, alternatively you can use assist tags instead so that there's a dotted line underneath to show that there's something hidden there when you hover over it.

    For example:
    [assist=Forever!]Losing a friend's trust is the fastest way to lose a friend.[/assist]

    Will become:
    Losing a friend's trust is the fastest way to lose a friend.

    ponies, i had to
    If there's anything else, don't be afraid to ask. :3

    Why is the HTML turned off at the Posting Rules. I can't embed a YouTube video now... :-(

    Although you revived a dead thread (it's better to make a new one in this situation), HTML isn't allowed because it would basically potentially be an issue to our coding and allow people to hack in easier, so for safety reasons it's turned off. As for putting in a Youtube video, do the following:

    :)
