Hello hardcore Pokemon battlers and escape room fans. Here is an experience you ain't wanna miss!!!

Set in the beautiful city of Humilau, with its magnificent beach, great weather, and gen 5 battle mechanics, this hack will make sure to challenge your exploring skills. But most importantly, it will test how good of a Pokemon tactician and battler you are. It features carefully designed fights against strong opponents and very limited resources to beat each of them. If you happen to enjoy hard pokemon challenges with crafty strategies, this hack is absolutely for you!

Moreover, the hack will not feature certain aspects of escape room hacks that are often viewed as "cheap" difficulty tricks such as invisible overworld items and levelling up pokemon to learn new moves. The Humilau City Resort encourages fair and responsible gaming experiences. You can read more about the hack in the documentation file within the drive folder.

Hey there, tried to give it a go but patching doesn't work on my end.
And yes I am using the right nds file (~500MB) and your xdelta patch (~20KB).

The patch seems super small, but I am not used to binary hacking, so that might be the cause.

First of all thanks for playing my hack. I appreciate it.

Secondly, I troubleshot the problem. It appears I had been linking to the wrong rom patching site in my patching instruction file. I have updat said flie to link you somewhere that will patch your rom properly.

Please tell me if there is any more problems with the hack. thanks in advance

Hey, just finished the escape room. It was a lot of fun!

Just wanted to point out that:

It might be worthwhile to replace waterfall on lapras with some other move like Aqua tail. I managed to (kind of) cheese the 3rd fight by flinching Trapinch so it couldn't set up stealth rock. This let me bring in Lapras & Jumpluff for free later, and I didn't really have to bait water moves to restore Lapras' health.

Also, I noticed you recently updated the patch to v1.4.2. Are there any notable changes?

Well, 1.4.2 removed exactly waterfall from lapras. I reallly triple checked that I had removed the flinch chance from that move but for some reason the effect was never removed. I then decided to remove that move altogether as I knew it was not necessary.

Also, good job! Can you please DM me on here or on discord (preferrably, my handle is kh_theblackquill)? I would like to know how you won fight 5 (and the kabu fight as well if you tried that without the waterfall flinch). Thanks a lot
