Hungry for the Good Life

I actually lied this episode...well I usually like most of the episodes...lol...
Swinub was so cute and fat looking when it went to sleep after gobbling up all that food...

LOL, I really would like to see how she uses it in contests when it finally evolves into piloswine ----> mamoswine....hmmm

Cliff-note summary of this episode:

-Trainers find a Cleffa
-Cleffa leads them to pretty girl
-Brock falls for pretty girl
-Trainers get stuck in rain
-Wild Mr. Backlot appeared!
-Trainers go in and see all the cute likely-poached Pokemon
-Swinub pulls a Wurmple
Spoiler:

-Swinub rejects Ash for Dawn; Swinub's future owner confirmed in fans' minds everywhere
-Team Rocket uses Dig and gets all of the Pokemon as well as one of the trainers
-"Lower the force field."
-All of the Pokemon stand there like imbeciles as Dawn and Swinub plummet to their likely demise
-Dawn and Swinub manage to survive a several-hundred-foot drop
-Dawn uses Fake Tears! It's super effective! Swinub uses Odor Sleuth!
-Swinub finds Team Rocket and frees the Pokemon with one attack
-Out of all the other Pokemon already ready for battle, only one or two join in. Do the writers want to make the other Pokemon look incompetent in this episode or what?
-TR blasts off yet again thanks to the magical exploding Thunderbolt
-Dawn captures Swinub through an unspoken promise of food

So, to review, Team Rocket managed to catch all of the heroes' Pokemon as well as Dawn, then got beat by a Swinub that Dawn in turn caught. In other words, Team Rocket > Dawn > Swinub > Team Rocket. Or, by terms of association, Team Rocket > Team Rocket. POKEMON LOGIC RULES. XD

Don't sound too surprised. Sometimes, it's showcasing the new Pokemon. Sometimes, it's promoting their favorite. Sometimes, they're too lazy to animate a full-out battle.

Ah, there goes our sadistic rat from doom in action.

Logic? Logic has no place in our little series. What logic?

I liked the episode a lot...it was funny too!

Most likely the latter in this case, unfortunately. Even still, just adding one or two more Pokemon attacks in for the sake of fairness is hardly asking for too much. They've easily done far more in the past.

...I'll take that as referring to Pikachu.

Not normal sane-person logic, no, but they still have universal rules of their own that can be applied as a sort of logic (monotony can give birth to sensibility and all that).

I wonder of Professor Oak's special Poke Block recipe can be adapted for poffins? Ash still has trouble cooking, perhaps he should bribe/ask Brock to fix some for him.

Spoiler:

Pretty good episode. I liked how Dawn was the one to save the Pokemon.
Anyone notice that when Dawn said, "No, not fruit!!" her mouth didn't match the words?

Yeah, it was kind of creepy when I first saw it. But it wasn't as creepy as the Team Hikari picture.

I didn't know swinub could get so cute until I watched this episode! It was a pretty pleasant episode to watch! xD
