Hurricane Gustav

I don't know why they would rebuild it to. :\
If I were them, I'd give the money to Arizona, seeing there are still tons of houses being built near where I live still...>_>
That really is just a waste of money.
They should just make it an inaccessible area from here on out...:\
And if anyone tries to go there during a hurricane...well...their fault for getting possibly killed. :\

Yes it may be a disaster is some areas but it really isn't that big of a deal.

Also, "hitting" refers to when the eye hit lands, not when the arms are hitting.

not true, the economy is ALWAYS hurt by any form of natural disaster. remember, everything that gets destroyed has to be rebuilt, and there are LOTS of casinos all over the u.s., which means that if one of them is hit, then it hurts the economy, considering casinos bring in a lot of retinue for the government (mostly in taxes) and they also bring in tourist for the location that they are in.
 
I wonder if everyone thinks its not as bad because they actually evacuated this time and prepared. Anyways, I like Ike.
