Has a kid and is holding on to his Sandshrew?
Once found an Ekans in his shoe?

XD Oh, I like the Ekans idea! It could be just about anything creepy-crawley, too. Even a Bug-type, perhaps.

"Holding it for a friend" works too. Actually, that could work for a wide variety of Pokémon, whether he's telling the truth or not.

"You have a Jigglypuff...?"
"I swear, it's not mine! It's a friend's!"

Then maybe with the creepy-crawly thing, could be a way to see Spinarak (although the filling the dex doesn't really matter).

Hey, could be, yeah. It would definitely be a perfect creepy-crawly thing.

Hah, maybe that could happen to a Super Nerd instead? He'd talk about how he freaked out when he found it in his shoe.

One Hiker's default dialogue talks about how he had to take Rock Tunnel as a "detour" due to the Snorlax on Route 12. Where exactly could he have been trying to go...? Depending on the answer, maybe he has a Pokémon from that area.

....But Route 10 and Lavender you can get to...the Snorlax blocks from Vermilion/Lavender to Fuschia....

Hmm... The Snorlax also means you can't go directly from Vermilion to Lavender Town... Perhaps that Hiker had to go Vermilion to Cerulean to Rock Tunnel to get there?

I'm giving him a Diglett, I think. And a Drowzee, to confuse people.

I think I'm gonna need some Generic Cute Pokémon, too. For the Picnickers. There can only be so many with Oddish, Pidgey, Meowth, and Jigglypuff. Any ideas? The only other "cute" Pokémon I've thought of is Pikachu. My other ideas are Gen II and III. (Of course, I could go with Rijon Adventure's ideas of "cute". "My Cubone is so cute. Skulls are all the rage right now!")

For this thread, at least, you could also click "quote" for the most recent entry with the correct numbers (since they aren't changing much :P) and then delete the tags. It's faster than typing everything out again, yeah?

I'm trying not to use too many Johto Pokémon too fast, so Marill, Pichu, and Hoppip would be best used later. I'm also trying to not use too many starters, but who knows?

There's one Picnicker with dialogue that includes "You play hard!" and "Whew! I'm all sweaty now!" so I could see her having a bit... tougher Pokémon. Maybe she'll get a Fighting-type. (Mankey's fuzzy. It could be "cute" to a tough trainer.)

Yep; it's called ToxicPurple. It's Team Rocket-centric, and will go through the entire Kanto and Johto arcs from Team Rocket's perspective. :D

(By the way, it'd be helpful if you put numbers next to your pluses and minuses, to make it easier to keep a running score.)
