Hypno attacks

    Could someone tell me what are hypno best attacks? I have a 100% iv hypno with confussion and psychic attacks and one site says they are the best moves. I know hypno isn't one of strongest Pokemon for battle but if this has best moves I will power it up as much as I can as it will be the only Pokemon I have that I can't get one better than.
     
    It might not look it but hypno is one of the best for gyms, due to the way defenders attack in gyms it attacks back as quickly as it can. (Defenders attack every 1.5 seconds so no point in having a Pokemon with quick recharge rate because it won't attack quicker) also there are no Dark type Pokemon to attack it and the only ghost type is vulnerable to psychic and there are no good bug types so far

    It's a decent Defender. In the top 20, and that's saying something.

    I've looked on a few sites and seems debate able which fast move is best. It says confussion does more damage but takes longer between uses and zen head butt less damage but can have more uses in short time. Is that right? Confussion used once is stronger than zen head butt but zen head it could be used twice in time it takes confussion to be used once?

    Parts of this thread will give you insight into what all goes into ranking these moves for the infographic I linked you to. Type advantage is also a factor, as well as how quickly a move will charge up your secondary move.
