man...I haven't gotten any shiny pokemon I haven't even seen any...
then again I haven't been EV training so that's probably it...I move around
too much to ever find one, but I'll start as soon as I start breeding.

...I want a shiny gastly that sounds like it'd look really cool.

but honestly I'd rather have a shiny misdreavus (I got a normal lookin' one)

misdreavus is a rad pokemon... but i think the normal looks better the shiny is kinda weird: "image removed" but, shiny gengar looks awesome: "image removed"

Yeah, the odds for getting a female Eevee is 12.5%, or 1 in 8 if you're bad at maths. Same odds for getting a female starter. And yes, females are preferred for getting certain egg moves onto an Eevee (such as Wish) :-)

I msut be then lucky then too, because it only took me two tries to get my Female CHarmander.

I found a shiny catepie..... caterpies are cool i'am not evolving it.....

I once caught a shiney Caterpie in Azalea woods in Crystal Versoin, and it evolved into a Pink Butterfree.
