5th Gen I cheated - so what?

Do you think cheating is wrong? I recently got a Pokemon via a exploit (not really an exploit but just a program to modify wild Pokemon areas) because in order to get that particular Pokemon I would have had to beat the entire game and buy a second NDS. At that point it would have defeated the purpose.

For me it would be wrong to use cheats if I have not passed the game once. I find cheating is for fun, not to beat the game easily. So in the Pokemon games the only cheat I use is to make Meowth appear, train it, and make it evolve into my favorite Pokemon, Persian.

Cheating I will give it a 50/50 good and bad. Depends on the purpose of the cheat.

Depends. If you are altering stats/EVs/IVs for competitive battles, shame on that person. If you're just doing it for in game, i see no problem with it. After all it is your game. So i think what you have done is fine. It is frustrating having to have two ds and waiting the whole game. :)

Unfortunately this doesn't belong here. While it would fit into Pokemon Gaming Central, there's a recent thread there which concerns cheating. While it isn't exactly the same question, your thoughts on cheating is bound to come up in that thread when discussing the limits between cheating and not cheating. If you really think there should be a separate thread for that there, though, then feel free to contact Sydian and ask her. n_n
