    I spanish..1-2-3 is uno dos tres just like in artic-uno zap-dos mol-tres...

    another thing...ekans and arbok if you read it from the right to the left it will be this way...snake and kobra...

    ps: its a good way to know wich pokemon goes first in numericak order

    yeah, most of us already figured that out... most names have some other kind of significance behind them as well
     
    yeah i fuigured that out a while ago.
     
    Hm.. maybe I'll make a dictionary with all pok?mon nave orgins. LOL
    Another one:
    Deoxys has a tail. XD
     
    v.v; Most of those were already known...


    It isn't the same with the Japanese names though. :P
     
    There's a list of name origins on GameFAQ's.com...it's got almost all the names listed...it's really good...here's the link!
