5th Gen I don't get it!!

Im still not understanding the mechanics of pkrs my zoroark is infected with it, it doesnt have the pink smiley like my scizor. like ive been trying to infect the rest of my team for a boost in stats but nothings working any suggestions?

The smiley means that the Pokemon can't spread it anymore I believe. I'm not completely sure but I believe you have to make sure that it's next to a non-infected Pokemon. I do suggest that once you have 2+ infected so you can store one in the box and keep Pokerus indefinitely. :3

you have to battle other people or pokemon while the infected pokemon is in your party

It can take only a few battles (1 or 2) or it can take many (idk, 10?), it just depends, it is a really quick process to spread it imo. :x
