I recently put in a Lucario/ Riolu trade in the Trade Corner, and it was moved. It now links to the quick trade thread. I dont get this. So if I wanted to do a trade (say Sudowoodo for Tropius) would I put it in the Quick Trades thread (which is like 400 pages long) and if so, do people actually read it?

Also, if I wanted to do a giveaway of Pokemon, say free Squirtles, then would I make a new thread or use the Quick Trade thread? Does the quick trade thread ever get renewed (re made) due to clutter and stuff?

    Sorry if this confuses you,

When you're only doing one trade, it goes in the quick trade thread. Otherwise the entire forum would get ridiculously cluttered with "i'll trade u a palkia for dialga kk?" threads and it would be really hard to sift past the one-time traders. So if you're just trying to get one item or Pokemon, it's easier to keep it in one thread. As far as I know, it's checked so you don't have to worry about being overlooked. I'm not sure how often (if at all) it's restarted though.

If you were doing a giveaway or planning to have more up for trade than just a one-time thing, that's when a standalone thread would be acceptable.
