Hi, everyone. I've recently found a gameboy emulator so I could finally try out the pokémon games. I'm currently playing with Pokémon Red, just about to beat Misty. Altough I don't know much about how things work... I caught a Clefairy, and since I had the Moon Stone, I thought it would be a good idea to make it evolve. It was level 8 at the time of the evolution. But now it won't learn anything by leveling up. It's level 13 and I was expecting it to learn sing, but it didn't, and sing is basically the reason I caught it(and Metronome later of course...) Can anyone explain this to me?

After evolving Clefairy with the Moon Stone, it won't learn anymore moves. Most stone evolution Pokemon suffer from this, with the exception of those few Pokemon that has a drastic type change (like Eevee evolving into Vaporeon). You're better off catching a new Clefairy and evolving it with another Moon Stone at a later level, or using TMs on Clefable. Please use the Q&A threads next time though. They are in every Pokemon gaming section, and for Red Version, you would use the one in the Metal/Color Generation section.
