I used to like more Indy music, with softly-singing female singers and pretty melodies.

Now I'm more into Symphonic Metal, Gothic Metal, and basically anything with heavy/fuzzy guitars and good harmony lines.

I still usually like female singers, but usually whenever they pull out the stops on their vocal capabilities. But even this is a broad definition, since I like both Tarja Turenen and Brandi Carlile. <3333333

i start to really hate songs that are put on the radio all the time, so i stay away from Heart radio, which is pretty much the same 5 songs all day. The only difference to most posts in this thread is that sometimes i permanently hate the song after hearing it so many times, one example being Spotlight. Usually, i do love the song again after a while, such as Alive with the Glory of Love.

My taste in music, doesn't really change so much as that it varies. It varies from genre to genre so I tend to listen to whatever suits my mood. I could listen to metal one minute then the blue or easy listening the next. Though I do grow out of bands I used to like, but I think that happens to everyone, they grew to love a band then grew to loath a band.
I used to like... S-Club 7 as a kid, then moved onto Linkin Park, I don't follow either with great enthusiaism any more. Needless to say I dont really follow SC7 at all anymore, but I guess as you mature, so do your tastes in many ways also.

I dodn't listen to the same song enough to get sick of it. Though sometimes I don't feel like listening to a particular song.

Sean Kingston - Fire Burning. Love the song, but after I saw the video, it made the song very undesirable, the video is just not well done in my opinion.

I usually listen to a song for hours at a time if I like it (I'm a bit obsessive, hehe), so I get tired of certain genres quickly. I often get back to them a few days later, though. xD;
