    XD
Today's the second time I had to fix a virus on Windows XP. I'm dead tired now.
It's annoying since my past two Windows running systems did not have any infection.
What's more it is a trojan keylogger! :dead:
Last time it was the blaster viruses, and my time's completely wasted on fixing them.
*Gets really annoyed and pulls hair out*
So does everyone have these kind of situations too?

I think they are my best pet on comp. XD
    I have anti-virus.
No need to worry for them.
They are just my pet. XD
    Or best nuke...

I have Norton Antivirus with 90-day LiveUpdate Trial.
Problem is the software started glitching a bit (stupid virus, what else?) and the Trial expired. I solved it by cheating, which is changing the month on the computer time settings :D so the trial started working again.

    Hm...how nice. XD
Change the month? I think I should do it too.
    *already pay for it*
*no money left for Pokemon Colosseum*
    Uaaah! T_T

I just don't let them get on my computer by: Only installing software that I know is legimate, turning on PFU's antivirus so emails that come in are virus free, not opening suspicous emails directly (I look at it with my antispam software before I open it in outlook), have my firewall quarentine attachments, etc.

No need for an antivirus here. I am going to get Norton Corporate edition in the future anyway so I am protected.

Do you run Windows Update and Live Update regularly? It is a serious problem if you don?t. A good firewall is really a must as well. Hardware being preferred, software if you have to. Be sure to have Norton scan all of the incoming files and email on your computer, as well as check for malware (spyware etc) with Spybot: Search and Destroy or Ad-Aware.

I've managed to get pretty much no virii this way.

A/V's can't catch ALL the viruses. I had one this morning. When I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del, I saw svchos1.exe. That stupid thing thought it could trick me. I ended it and ran StartUp Organizer. I saw where it was and erased it from Registry Startup. Then I used Invisible Secrets and completely wiped it off my hard drive. It caused me quite a LOT of annoyance, taking up all my memory.

I had no blaster worm virus... My computer wasn't on.. Well, I am prepared. I have McAfee Virus Scan and Firewall so my computer is safegarded from viruses.. (My computer attracts viruses because I use the Professional Verson of Windows)

Norton Anti-Virus subscription is evil... eh?

I don't need no anti-virus thing. All I need to do is not open any tricky files and that's it! ^_^

Anyways, this is a warning of a virus going around..

DO NOT open any emails saying..

"Pornography will be delivered to u home unless you reply back to (strange email here)"

Or something like that.. >_<; It's a virus that makes ur computer into a zombie or something like that. Meaning it uses ur email account to spread more viruses.

    *gets eaten by virus*

Well, AV is not realiable virus scan. You have to buy a virus software. It cost 64 to 200 dollars for virus scan software...

Freestuff is not always do the same as licenced, legit, Virus Scan Software.
