    hey everyone this is a gen. dum Q i guess. any help would be nice thx.


    i was wonder what i would need to set up my own server and pokemon game, i looked in to rpg maker etc. but i was just looking for a lil insight. again thanks you.

    Server: My dad owns one, but I have no clue about them.


    Pokemon Game: Have you tried Pokemon Essentials, a game engine that has all the Pokemon Values built in? There's a link to it somewhere in the Games showcase.


    I'm not sure I answered adiquately, but your question was very vague.

    thank you i'm trying to get one up and running not anytime soon of course just really to fool around with and see what i can do =) i just have no idea how to set a server up or even if i could use my home comp. thanks for your help very much =)

    i'm trying to set up a game where you play the role as a pokemon and there will be clan's and clan war's and clan halls etc. and i just have no idea how to even start a server or host one etc. so i guess i just need base info about it (them)

    You will need someone to host your server, or if running from home you need to contact your ISP to get a static IP address. They usually run $15 a month or less. AT&T even includes them for free on their high end DSL packages.
