When I bought Pt I also bout my DSi, my only DS system. Then I learned about migrating pokemon from old games to complete the dex, and I was all excited about this. Until I realized the DSi does not have a GBA slot, therefore eliminating the pal park for my version of Pt. What should I do? I don't have people to trade with or has a DS/Lite I can barrow. Is there a way other than cheating to get those pokemon? Even using a SD card with a ported version of the games to migrate, if that's an option. Oh woe is me. DX

actually no. i know what your talking about though. my friend bought a dsi and was so pissed about the gba slot thing.
there really isnt anything you can do. if you really want to migrate return the dsi or sell it on ebay and use the money to buy the next best thing. a ds lite.
you dndt know they dndt have gba slots @_@ you can only cheat pokemon on gba games with a gameshark.

Well you can certainly borrow a friend's DS, no need to sell it like POL!TO3D suggested. My Sister borrows mine from time to time to get her Sapphire Pokemon onto her DS game.

Do any of your friends have a DS or DS Lite? You could maybe borrow it and use the Pal Park glitch to migrate all your Pokémon in one go?

... ... ... ... ... ...Well, the only thing I can say to you is:
Not to be mean POKéMIKE and Monty, but he said that he didn't have a friend that has a DS system that he can borrow. Anyway, I do sugest that you sell your DSi and get another DS system, or you can save your money up and buy a used old DS. A used DS is $20 dollars lower than a DS Lite and all you are going to use it for is to migrate so why get a totaly new system? Even though, I do believe that there are no unused DSes-DSes. Anyway it is your call and what choices that you can do. I hope I have helped.
