I know alot about the TCG rules now, like what prizes are and where to put them, basic pokemon, ect, but I have a quick question. Once you have a Basic Pokemon, or any pokemon, and when its done attacking, do you discard the energy cards that it used? Or keep them, so they can still attack with those same energy cards, I was thinking of discarding them, but Im not sure, since you can only hold 60 cards in your deck, and barely any energy cards..

You keep them on the pokemon the whole game, unless the attack otherwise states that you must discard a energy, or your opponents pokemon makes you discard a energy or your pokemon get's knocked out.

Thank you! Your alot of help :P

And yeah on one of my Blastiose cards it said something about discarding energies so it got me kinda confused with my other pokemon cards.

Also I'm guessing you can only evolve Erica's Ivysuar if you Have Erica's Bulbasuar?

Or only have Rocket's Charmander to evolve to Rocket's Charmeleon then to Rocket's Charizard?

So for example I can't have a Normal Bulbasuar card evolve into Erica's Ivysuar****

    Yep, you are correct.

Only if you have Erica's bulbasuar, and etc.

Thank you! I've been having trouble fitting all my energy cards / Pokemon Cards / Trainer Cards all into just a 60 card Deck, Its pretty hard for me >_<

I guess I should cut down on the pokemon.. But I barely have like 11

Can you give me any tips?

Sorry if I take a while to reply LOL

Anyways, well you only should use one MAIN line of pokemon (Your main attacker) and avoid putting a bunch of random cards into the deck that don't work together.
A decent amount of Pokemon is 22.

You should have A LOT of trainers/supporters that give you a good chance to set up and some decent draw power.

And a lot of decks run at least 8-15 energy, because you really don't need that much.

I try to put my favorite looking cards, But Ive been trying to fit in a Dratini, Dragonair, and my Dragonite,

Is it fine with you if I Pick 22 Pokemon cards I think are good / (Ill show you the images), and then you can help me with the energies?

    And Yeah I had like About 8 or 10 of my best trainer cards, and I had to take out some of my energies for them / Pokemon, I tried doing my deck over like 3 times already ;-;

Well, it's not really that good to choose your favorite pokemon unless they are actually good and have strategy. But I'll let you show me picks first I guess.

Also, you need more then 10 Trainers/supporters you need like 20-24.
That's what makes the deck work.

Ok thanks for helping me, but yeah you can tell me what to take out and things like that,

    Spoiler:

With those Pokemon, I can't tell what type of deck you're going for. You're going to want more of a certain Pokemon so that you have a better chance of getting to that juggernaut in your deck. For example, in my water deck, I'm running about four Squirtle. The maximum of the same card/Pokemon you can have is four, so you can't go over that. Until you tell me what type of deck you have, I can't tell you what to keep and take out. How many of a certain energy card do you have? I normally make a deck depending on how many of a certain energy I have.

You don't always have to have a theme, though. =/ It can be a multitude of types if you want it to be. Whatever works for you. People usually only have a 'theme' to make it easier to use Stadium (and the like) cards.

And most of the time the decks don't need a theme, it needs a strategy, if you have no strategy there is no need to build a deck.

Even if you made a water deck and just put random pokemon in it, it wouldn't work because it has no strategy.
