    First go to Petalburg and the pokemon center there, after that talk to the guy next to the p.c and say MYSTERY GIFT IS EXCITE
    then go to game shark and enter these codes...
    0332305f41a5f851 and
    f444ca88abdfe871 and enter them in game shark and get two count em
    TWO eon TICKETS!!!
     
    i think you just need to enter the necessary codes (event trigger code, the eon ticket code) and you'll be fine already... no need to talk to a specific person.
     
    The question is: does it allow you to get to Southern Island or does it just put the Eon Tickets into your inventory?

    It just put the Eon Tickets into your inventory for a look...if you don't put another code...It won't work...
