Intro: Hello. This team below, as you can tell by the name of my topic, is a weather team. It's based around Rain Dance, which to me is my personal favorite weather condition. I know, I know, I try and try again, but I always fail at making teams. Well, look ahead, because I actually like how this one turned out!

    Lead/Wall

    Bronzong@Damp Rock
    Impish – Levitate
    EVS: 252 HP – 128 Sp.Def – 128 Def
    Rain Dance
    Stealth Rock
    Hypnosis
    Gyro Ball

Alright. So this guy is like one of my favs on the team. Here is how he works. Gryo Ball is just there to be there, since I couldn't figure out anything else. Anyways, Bronzong makes the opponent not realize this team is a Rain Dance team until later, which I really like. First he Hypnosiss, then Stealth Rock, Rain Dance, Hypnosis again when they wake up, then switch out to what I need.

    M.M.M (Mah Main Man)

[PokeCommunity.com] I Like Splashing In Rain Puddles (OU RMT)

    Kingdra@Life Orb
    Rash – Swift Swim
    EVS: 252 Sp. Atk120 Sp. Atk120 HP - 16 Spd
    Rain Dance
    Waterfall
    Hydropump
    Draco Meteor

Mah Main Man! Wazzup! Just chilin and sweepin teams. THAT'S WHAT! Lol this Kingdra is pretty simple and pretty destructive. Rain Dance, Life Orb, and Swift Swim all packed together is obvious, and I really like Rain Dance here. If ever the rain stops, if I am getting close to winning, ill go into Kingdra, which then Rain Dances and finishes off the team. Hydropump acts as my Special/Zuper Water move, and waterfall acts as the Psychal. Then Draco Meteor, with Kingdra's STAB and 252 EVd Sp. Attack, is very destructive. This is why Kingdra is officially Mah Main Man!

    Physical Sweeper

[PokeCommunity.com] I Like Splashing In Rain Puddles (OU RMT)

    Gyarados@Life Orb
    Adamant – Intimidate
    EVS: 4 HP – 252 Atk – 252 Spd
    Dragon Dance
    Waterfall
    Stone Edge
    Ice Fang

What shall I say? Any normal Gyarados, but like them all, it ROCKS! The moveset, item and EVS are pretty simple. I want it to attack first so it can it can sweep with its Physical moves. Stone Edge covers any Flying, and Ice Fang covers the grass. Waterfall is killer with: Dragon Dance, Rain Dance, 252 Atk Evs, already high Atk Stats, and STAB!

    Another Rain Dancer

[PokeCommunity.com] I Like Splashing In Rain Puddles (OU RMT)

    Starmie@Damp Rock
    Timid – Natural Cure
    EVS: 252 HP – 126 Spd. – 126 Sp. Atk
    Rain Dance
    Surf
    Grass Knot
    Recover

Starmie here is another rain dancer in my team, nothing special. Leftovers is taken out so Damp Rock can increase Rain Dances time, and Recover is put in to substitute Leftovers. Surf is obvious, but right now I am having a hard time to decide if I should either have a 100% Acc. Thunder or a Grass Knot. Erg…

    Just Some Extra Team Support

[PokeCommunity.com] I Like Splashing In Rain Puddles (OU RMT)

    Jolteon@Leftovers
    Timid – Volt Asorb
    EVS: 252 HP – 252 Spd
    Thunder
    Subsitute
    Wish
    Baton Pass

This fella over here is basically here to A) 100% STAB Thunder B) Baton Pass Subsitute and Wish to whoever needs it. My main guys use Life Orb, so the ones that aren't Toxicroak need some protection!

I liked how this one worked out…

[PokeCommunity.com] I Like Splashing In Rain Puddles (OU RMT)

    Toxicroak@Life Orb
    Adamant – Dry Skin
    EVS: 252 Atk – 6 HP – 252 Spd
    Swords Dance
    Cross Chop
    Sucker Punch
    Earthquake

I know I know, Toxicroak is UU, but come on, I really like this guy. I don't know why, but I feel like I need him on this team. Due to rain, Life Orb, and Dry Skin, all together, I will in the end gain 2.5% of HP AND Boosting Attack. I really like its attacking moves, since it gives a lot of variety now to the team. Ya…I like it…and it doesn't need my Jolteon to survive either!

Conclussion: Alright, so any ratings, conscrutive citisism, and fixes would be greatly appreciated! I dont know if I have too many Rain Dancers, and I am unsure about otehr things as well (im sure you can see why when you see the faults of this team). Anways, anything that would help is, as I said, greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Personally I prefer Jirachi leads for Rain Teams. Giving something like Starmie the secondary Rain Dance seems a bit lol to me. Might as well be asking people to come in and destroy you.

Jolteon offers you little other than fast Baton passes. It's Subs are easy to break with minimal defense as it has.

Wtf get rain Dance off of Toxicroak. Please for the sake of humannity

    Toxicroak @ Life Orb
    Trait: Dry Skin
    Adament [+Att, -Sp. Att]
    252 Att / 252 Spe / 4 HP
    -Swords Dance
    -Stone Edge
    -Cross Chop
    -Sucker Punch

If you doubt that set works I can easily grab a video of me online 5-0'ing some one with a SD'ed up Toxicroak but what ever. Rain Dance is just no.

You have like 4 people running rain dance and very little chance to set up due to it. If you have to set up every few turns you'll just be swept by the likes of Zapdos or something that really hurts your team.

Thanks so much. WHat Jirachi could I use. I have only one UT Jirachi, so i want to train it wisely!
Ill make sure to change the EVs on Jolteon and the moveset of Toxicroak! =]

    EDIT: 200th Post!

    Jirachi @ Damp Rock
    252 HP / 80 SpA / 176 Spe
    Timid
    -Rain Dance
    -U-turn/Stealth Rock
    -Thunder/Stealth Rock/Water Pulse
    -Wish

Better wisher than your Jolteon to be quite honest.

yes, it could be, but could it also replace Starmie? I really now wanna get rid of him, but with your Jirachi it replaces 2 Pokemon that i actually want in the team. :P
    I appreciate the great help!

And that is why Jirachi is better.

It's more suitable and fills 2 rolls instead of just 1 Roll which the rest of your pokes do.

I dont' see why you have starmie, it does nothing for you and is so easily Pursuited by a CBScizor or CBTTar is unruly.

how does toxicroak gain speed from rain dance? i can answer that... it doesn't.

your ev spread for starmie is atrocious. it still needs speed. you can invest a lot in hp, sure, but don't ever neglect speed unless you plan on giving it twave. oh and i forgot the part where i should smack you for using 126 evs in both spd and sp atk.

kingdra does not want rain dance. drop for hp electric/hp grass/toxic (the last being specifically for vaporeon). and why is it a +atk nature when the only physical atk it has is waterfall? go rash, pls. you may want to invest in hp here as well, but it's entirely up to you.

stricken, mentioning ttar and scizor as follies of starmie in a rain dance team worries me. when ttar comes in, all starmie has to do is set rain back up again taking the pursuit, and kill off. if scizor comes in, it's going to wish it didn't. also, grass knot does not help starmie at all. with rain dance up, it hits swampert with surf hard enough and grass knot does lame damage to vaporeon and a few other bulky waters. is that how you would plan on countering other gyaras? 3-4HKO when it can 2hko starmie after a DD?

relying on early game hypnosis from bronzong is a big mistake. i agree that perhaps jirachi could do a better job as a starter with that function.

Alright, ill check into Kingdra, see what i can do.
Yes, that is why i hate starmie. it causxes to many problems. Anybody help with it? What sjhould i put in (and no, dont give me a Pokemon that roles it would take are already taken. I need a STARMIE replacment, and i really need help with it!)
