I made a spreadsheet that can be used to compare different poke's resistances side by side and on the fly.

To use, simply go to File > make a copy, and you'll be able to freely edit the copy you've made. The only fields you ever need to edit for the functionality are the drop-down type menus I provided. For calculating a mono-type pokemon, simply put its type in the first field and "None" in the second field, though that shouldn't be as necessary since there's a type effectiveness chart right to the side. If you accidentally edit one of the many fields with either a formula or the reference chart on the right, a quick Ctrl-Z should be able to fix it. If the sheet is somehow beyond repair, you can always just make a new copy from the link above.

I made this because I got pretty tired of manually hashing out what each poke resists when building a team and constantly switching between tabs, so I wanted something that I could just keep in one easy-to-read window. When reading the sheet, each number represents the multiplier of incoming damage by that attack type. E.G. If you set a pokemon's types to "water" and "electric", then it'll show a "2" in the "grass" column, indicating that it takes double damage from a grass type move.

If anyone has any suggestions, comments, or notices any mistakes, don't hesitate to let me know!

idk if you are aware, but people can see your full name when they access the google doc

This looks really helpful to players that aren't very familiar with the typings of the new Alola pokemon! Will you expand the list?

Eh that's fine. In fact this username I have was made a while ago, I have long since stopped caring about anonymity.

The list is easy to expand! You simply type in the name of the pokemon you want, then use the dropdown menus to select the appropriate types, and the sheet will automatically update with the resistances. The samples I gave are just to kinda get you started. You can easily clear it by just selecting the boxes with the pokemon names and their types and hit delete for a fresh sheet, but be careful not to remove any of the formulas.

EDIT: after a small bit of thought, I realized it would be super easy to add a pokemon database. The spreadsheet now functions by simply typing in the desired pokemon's name (or selecting it in the dropdown menu) and it'll automatically fill in all of the rest of the information, from types to resistances calculation. Note that this sheet will not tell you any special information, such as immunity to ground moves via levitate.
