There's some major fail going on here. At least try it before you shut it down. Salting a watermelon actually makes it taste sweeter because the salt dilates your taste buds. It has no effect on the juiciness of the fruit, and will only make it taste salty IF you put too much salt on it in the first place.

I don't really like watermelons since eating them is always such a mess. And I never heard or thought of salting them before. I love to salt a lot of things, but...watermelons?
