EVen if it is Salac, it's hard to get the HP down exactly such that tyranitar don't screw him. If you use tar, don't use reversallers or flailers, unless they're Kabutops.
 
I use a Sub Rev Heracross as my first poke

Its a pretty good starter I mean if their first poke is T-Tar then I'll Megahorn the crap out of it

Believe it or it does between 25 and 30% to blissey. Plus with the odd para its got it on the defensive more often than not.
