3rd Gen i need help on pokemon fire red

i did everything i needed to do to fight the elite four, but i cant get in! the girl blocking the door keeps on saying "i am so sorry, but you've wasted your time coming here, LORELIE of the elite four is absent you see, as a result, the pokemon league is closed for the time being."

You have to go to Island 1 and talk to celio and he will tell you the rest.

I already did that and i used action replay, it is not supposed to mess me up,i used it to get my badges.

Has he told you about the gems? If you are still not sure go to a walkthrough.

Yes he has told me about the gems! i gave him the ruby because i thought i would finally be able to enter, and the girl still said the same thing after i did what i had missed. its not working and a walkthrough is NOT going to help me!

You need the Sapphire Gem too.

thats all, i dont think you need to do that in order to fight the elite four! all i know is im ready to fight the elite four but it wont let me! are you sure about the saphire? have you experienced the same thing?

I was gonna answer this in one of my classes earlier, lol.Yeah you just go to Island 4 and talk to her.Everything should be ok after that.And next time plese use simple questions ^^.Good Luck!
