Okay, I've assembled a Dragon Deck. It's mostly from the Dragon's Roar Structure Deck. There's a tournament going on at a mall next weekend, and the prize is the whole set of the 3 God Emperor Cards. I need my deck to be the best it can if I want even a chance at winning. Here it is:

    Monsters: 20
The Dragon dwelling in the Cave x2
    Twin-Headed behemoth
    Luster Dragon x2
    Koumori Dragon
    Ryu-Ran
    Paladin of White Dragon
    Blue-Eyes White Dragon x3
    Red-Eyes Black Chick x2
    Lord of D. x2
    Masked Dragon x3
    Element Dragon
    Armed Dragon Lv. 3

    Fusion Monsters: 1
    Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon

    Spells: 9
    White Dragon Ritual
    Malevolent Nuzzler
    The Flute of Summoning Dragon
    Polymerization
    Graceful Charity
    Pot of Greed
    Curse of Fiend
    Mystical Space Typhoon
    Shield & Sword
    Swords of Revealing Light

    Traps: 10
    Gift of the Mystical Elf
    DNA Surgery
    Curse of Anubis
    Enchanted Javelin
    Coffin Seller
    Call of the Haunted
    Divine Wrath
    Dragon's Rage
    Shadow Spell
    Cemetery Bomb

And also, Don't hold back! My mom's boyfriend works at a card shop, and I can get any cards with a 20% discount.... And I know my deck is one card short....

A lot of those cards are banned from the advanced format... such as Pot of greed and graceful charity. Focus on an actual theme instead of splashing random dragons here and there. Within the dragon type, you can be a lot more specific. Since you got 3 Blue Eyes White Dragon and 1 Blue Eyes Ulimate Dragon, I guess that we can make this a Blue Eyes deck.

I'm sorry but I'm going to completely take this deck apart, and nearly replace everything... This is only a *sample* and is far from perfect, as any decks made in 5 minutes got to have some flaws somewhere.

I'm going to stay faraway from Paladin of White Dragons just because rituals are ugly 3-for-1 trades... so ewwwww to that.

    Fusion
    King Dragun

    Monsters
    Blue Eyes White Dragon
    Blue Eyes White Dragon
    Cyber Dragon
    Chaos Sorcerer

    Divine Dragon Ragnarok
    Divine Dragon Ragnarok
    Kaibaman
    Lord of D.
    Lord of D.
    Sangan
    Twin Headed Behemoth
    Masked Dragon
    Masked Dragon
    Masked Dragon

    Spells
    Luminous Spark
    Luminous Spark
    Premature Burial
    Smashing Ground
    Smashing Ground
    Smashing Ground
    Flute of Summoning Dragons
    Dragon's Mirror
    Mystical Space Typhoon
    Heavy Storm
    Nobleman of Extermination
    Nobleman of Crossout
    Dark Hole
    Swords of Revealing Light

    Traps
    Torrential Tribute
    Call of the Haunted
    Widespread Ruins
    Widespread Ruins
    Widespread Ruins
    Dragons' Rage

    Meh...

Tournaments seem to happen the same day of Sneak Peaks. There is something like that here. But it's usually a box. I suggest you use that discount to get a another Cyber Dragon or the Warrior and Spellcaster scturture decks.

For your build. Frostweaver build is good. But I would rather Blue Eyes White Dragon as a normal beatstick monster. The chaos theme is good though. I would try for the build a Dust Tornado and 2 Sakuretsu Armor instead of the Widespread Ruin's

The Kaiser Seahorse is enough. 1 of them is good enough. I would try Spirit Reaper instead. Also mabye a Mystic Tomato. Another King Dragun would not hurt. A bit more arrgo is needed like Luster Dragon or Tyrant Dragon. Test it first.

Luminous Spark can strike back at you. I would try more monster removal or a Brain Control. A Mobius is good for the build. There was a member I rembember who was good with dragons. Icha....something. Good Luck with the build though.

wow..... I'm gonna need some new cards!

And is there any way I can keep my BEUD? I really wanna keep it in there, or whatever the fusion deck counts as...

Man, This is gonna cost me, even with the 20% discount....I'm gonna wait till tomorrow to hurriedly scrubble these down, in case any more changes show up...

And one last thing, along with the BEUD, I also want to keep this pure Dragons. The Lord of D.s were the only exception, and DNA surgery was to change that.... get them covered by their own effect!

And of all the cards either of you mentioned, I have right now:

    Blue-Eyes White Dragon x2
    Sangan
    Lord of D. x2
    Nobleman of Extermination
    Nobleman of Crossout
    Torrential Tribute
    Dragon's Rage
    Call of the Haunted
    Mystical Space Typhoon
    Heavy Storm
    Dark Hole
    Premature Burial
    Flute of Summoning Dragon
    Mystic Tomato
    Luster Dragon
    Kaiser Sea Horse

And that's about it! I have tons of non-dragon cards, but dragons are my favorite, and Black Luster Soldier is banned... I don't mind changing it to a Red-Eyes Deck, I have 2 Chicks, 2 Dragons, and a Darkness Dragon...

You will NoE yourself if you use Sakuretsu instead of Widespread Ruins. He did mention that money isn't a problem. BEWD need those defense all gone in order to attack.

Kaiser Seahorse is easily a beatstick with Luminous Spark, as it also boosts Mirage Dragon and Divine Dragon Ragnarok. The only problem is Cyber Dragon, but on the other hand it forces DDA to dismiss even the usually tiny monsters.

If we add Mobius, then he'll have a gross number of tribues. Even Soul Control dare to only get 5 tributes. Remember that Blue Eyes is a 8 star too (eww.) From the beginning due to the deck's theme, really this deck can't be that competitive and is limited from the start.

To that earlier build, do these changes too...

    -1 Kaiser Seahorse
    +1 D. D. Warrior Lady

Now if we fear Cyber Dragon a lot, we can either...

    Option A
    -2 Luminous Spark
    +2 Rush Recklessly
Pros: Cyber Dragon gets no boost, and you can rush recklessly yourself to kill Cyber Dragon. Can also get reaper
Cons: Majorly weaken the deck against anything non-Cyber Dragon

    Option B
    +2 Bottomless Traphole
Pros: more defense in general, even against other creatures
Cons: deck size increase beyond 40, which is terrible since this deck contains basically no draw power

But the Widespread may get NoE also. Your opponent may not always have armor face down.

For the tributes, there is Cyber Dragon and Blue-Eyes White Dragon by which they can be special summoned by their own ways. true about Soul Cotrol, but they are all Monarchs,. I think Option B would work best. But 1 Rush Recklessy would be good though.

I understand about Kaiser Seahorse but the 3 is overkill.

DNA surgery is too situational in a way. Best for the deck to work by it's self.

    *sighs*

Okay. It all sounds good so far. But I really need some drawing power in it, any way I can get that?

No... Blue Eyes White Dragon got no toolbox support (Masked Dragon is iffy... it can only summon itself and Divine Dragon Ragnarok, and DDR is a crappy monster, only included here for the fusion.) It got no room for Dekoichi because that'll be another +3 to the monster count at least, and got no stall cards to protect Des Lacooda to flip-draw. No really strong draw power in Blue Eyes deck is the first reason why Blue Eyes isn't competitive to begin with.

Almost every other deck will prefer to use Sakuretsu instead of Widespread due to the cost of Widespread Ruins. Nobleman of Extermination got a much higher chance hitting Armor than Widespread. Now there are decks that use 3 Widespread and 3 Sakuretsu together *cough*Flip Flop*cough* (but really, when have we seen Blue Eyes beat flip flop before >>; I'm not even going to attempt a Blue Eyes against Flip Flop.) You can always side out all the Widespread and add in Trap Hole/Bottomless Trap Hole/Chain Disappearance from the sidedeck if you need to.

Your best bet is to rely on Luminous Spark and raw power run over your opponent, with some luck that Nobleman of Crossout will hit Sakuretsu Armor to immediately rid of 3 defense cards. Afterall, XYZ decks really only rely on Luminous Spark in reality to win, so I envision that this deck will rely on the same thing to really win. Blue Eyes is more of a finishing touch than the main attack force for this. Mirage Dragon buffed to 2100 and Cyber Dragon at 2600 are much more deadly than Blue Eyes at 3500 can dream to be.

Opponent's Cyber Dragon and Spirit Reaper should be your primary concern. Cyber Dragon is just brute force due to your Luminous Spark boosting it up, while this deck only got the 3 smashings and the relatively unreliable Widespread Ruin to get the reapers.

Blue Eyes = never be tier 1, so really don't expect so much to win against warrior toolbox with their 4 DD Family members, or Flip Flop's major flipping action. But, this will have a major success against other beatdown just because Luminous Spark Mirage Dragon > Berserk Gorilla, and depending on who gets the field magic card slot, this can rival pure Gravekeeper. If you got the reapers out of the way, you can easily trample zombies.

Heck with it... Blue Eyes beatdown this shall be! Who needs stall with this raw power (and nothing but raw power)

    -1 Swords of Revealing Light
    +1 Mobius the Frost Monarch
