Hey, I need help determining what the last Pokemon in my team should be. I have:

    Gengar, LVL 69,
    Shadow Ball
    Dark Pulse
    Hypnosis
    Dream Eater

    Togekiss, LVL 78,
    Fire Blast
    Fly
    Hyper Beam
    Extrasensory

    Vaporeon, LVL 68,
    Surf
    Whirlpool
    Waterfall
    Aurora Beam
    (HM SLAVE ^.^)

    Flareon, LVL 74,
    Fire Fang
    Iron Tail
    Rock Smash
    Strength

    Alakazam, LVL 72,
    Psychic
    Charge Beam
    Hyper Beam
    Calm Mind

I think I need a high Attack Pokemon, since I have 4 Special Sweepers and One Attack Sweeper. A wall would be nice, too tho.

Re-vamped the whole team yesterday. I'll update it:

    Gengar, LVL 69,
    Shadow Ball
    Sludge Bomb
    Hypnosis
    Dream Eater

    Togekiss, LVL 78,
    Heat Wave
    Fly
    Aura Sphere
    Extrasensory

    Vaporeon, LVL 68,
    Surf
    Signal Beam
    Aurora Beam
    ------

    Flareon, LVL 74,
    Fire Fang
    Last Resort
    ------
    ------

    Alakazam, LVL 72,
    Psychic
    Charge Beam
    Hyper Beam
    Shadow Ball

Team rate threads should go in the In-game Team Help section, so I'll move this there for you.

There's a lot of physical attackers you could add like Tyranitar or Heracross, but I will mention that Vaporeon could use an Ice Beam TM there over the ice move it currently has, I suggest.

    Thanks!

I'm currently (as of last night) constructing a new team, which will eventually compose of:

Dragonite*: EV Trained for ATK. & SPD.
    Dragon Rush
    Outrage
    Fly
    Ice Punch

Togekiss: EV Trained for SP. ATK and SP. DEF.
    Extrasensory -or- Psychic
    Heat Wave
    Ice Beam? -or- Shadow Ball
    Hyper Beam?

Jolteon*: EV Trained for SP. ATK. and SPD.
    Thunder
    Rain Dance
    Thunderbolt
    Shadow Ball? -or- Hyper Beam?

Snorlax: EV Trained for ATK. and DEF. (because it has virtually none)
    Yawn
    Body Slam
    Giga Impact
Fire Punch -or- Ice Punch -or- Thunderpunch

Espeon: EV Trained for SP. ATK. and SPD.
    Psychic
Heatwave? (suggestions for other similar fire/electric moves?)
    ------
    ------

Which leaves me on the last one, once more. I'm thinking Metagross, which has a mean Meteor Mash, in which case it would look like this:

Metagross: EV Trained for ATK. and DEF.?
    Meteor Mash
    Headbutt?
    Outrage?
    ------

And any help would be really appreciated. I already have all six of the power items, and I have the fabled Pokerus, so EV training is no problem at all.

*: Pokemon I've already started working on.

I'll help with moves for your updated team. My comments and changes will be in BOLD:

    Thanks!
    Dragonite* EVs: 252 HP / 64 Atk / 192 Spe
    Jolly Nature
    Dragon Dance/ExtremeSpeed
    Outrage
    Earthquake
    Fire Punch

Stat-boosting moves like Dragon Dance and Nasty Plot can be more helpful than you think. They can increase your stats so you can get more critical OHKOs. A Jolly Nature boosts your speed, and the EV spread allows you to withstand hits while still being an effective physical attacker. Outrage can be kept, and Earthquake is an awesome power move. Fire Punch hits any Ice or Steel types Dragonite may run into.

    Togekiss: EV: 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe
    Timid or Modest Nature
    Air Slash
    Heat Wave/Flamethrower
    Ice Beam
    Roost/Aura Sphere

The EV spread maxes your SpAtk and Spe, while a Timid nature boosts your speed, or Modest nature increases your power. Heat Wave and Ice Beam are decent enough, though include Air Slash for STAB. Roost is awesome for recovery. Aura Sphere can also be used, as can Flamethrower in place of Heat Wave, as Flamethrower is slightly more accurate.

    Jolteon*: EVs: 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    Thunder Wave/Charge Beam/Signal Beam
    Signal Beam/Hidden Power Ice
    Thunderbolt
    Shadow Ball

A Timid nature maxes your speed, while the EVs boost your SpAtk. Thunderbolt is your best STAB and use Shadow Ball over Hyper Beam. Avoid Hyper Beam and other recharge moves at all times! You don't want to waste a turn charging! Charge Beam boosts your SpAtk, or use Thunder Wave for status. Signal Beam for coverage or try to get HP Ice if you can. If you get HP Ice, use that. Electric and Ice always get excellent Super-Effective coverage.

    Snorlax: EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Atk
    Impish Nature
    Rest
    Body Slam
    Sleep Talk
Fire Punch -or- Ice Punch -or- Thunderpunch

Snorlax is best used as either a Curse user or a Sleep Talker. I like using the Sleep Talk set, as I can recover HP eaasily and still attack while asleep. Impish nature maxes its defenses. Body Slam is better over Giga Impact, as it can spread status. Any of the Elemental Punches work here, although I'd choose Fire Punch, as otherwise this Snorlax is walled by Steel types.

    Espeon: EVs: 252 SpAtk / 4 SpDef / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    Psychic
    Calm Mind
    Wish/Morning Sun
    Grass Knot/Hidden Power Fighting

Espeon needs all the speed it can get as it's rather frail, so a Timid nature is best. You have Psychic as STAB, and Calm Mind to boost your stats. Either breed for Wish, or use the level up move Morning Sun for recovery. Either use Grass Knot or HP Fighting in the last slot. I'd use HP Fighting as it allows Espeon to take out Dark Types it's weak to.

Which leaves me on the last one, once more. I'm thinking Metagross, which has a mean Meteor Mash, in which case it would look like this:

    Metagross: EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
    Adamant nature
    Meteor Mash
    Earthquake
    Zen Headbutt
    Stealth Rock

You need a Stealth Rocker if you plan to battle other players over wi-fi. Due to all the switching going on, Stealth Rock can come in extremely handy. I highly suggest putting Metagross in your lead position to get off SR as quick as possible. Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt are your STAB moves, and Earthquake is a nice power move.

    Hope that helped.

EDIT: One thing I forgot to mention was items. Every pokemon should have an item equipped onto it. The Life Orb, Leftovers, and Choice Items (Band, Specs, and Scarf) are some of the more common items used.

Here are the current items I recommend for your current team:

Dragonite: Choice Band if not using Dragon Dance, Life Orb otherwise.
    Togekiss: Life Orb
Jolteon: Choice Scarf/Specs if not using Thunder Wave. Life Orb otherwise.
    Snorlax: Leftovers
    Espeon: Life Orb
    Metagross: Leftovers/Occa Berry

I play a lot, so getting those items won't be hard. I'm actually going on 1000 BP at the Frontier and 10,000+ pokeathlon points. Only time i ever bought stuff from the frontier was when I bought the Power Items, and those combined with the Pokerus goin through the air in my game allowed me to make this:

    Gallade, LVL 54
240 EVs AT., 40 EVs HP., 228 EVs Speed:
    182 At.
    95 Def.
    72 SP. At.
    140 SP. Def.
    116 SPD.

    Ice Punch
    Earthquake
    Close Combat
    Psycho Cut

Thanks for all the help, I really appreciate it jab2033!

Where do I post things for party development?
I'm confused as to the construction of this forum, i could use some help :)

Why not replace Espeon with that Gallade you have? Close Combat will really help against the commonly-used Blissey. As it is, Blissey can wall more than half of your team. Even Togekiss's Aura Sphere won't do much damage, as Blissey is an awesome special defender. And consider Swords Dance over Earthquake on Gallade as well. With Stealth Rock active and a Life Orb on Gallade, very few Pokemon will be able to withstand an attack after a Swords Dance or two. Steel Types like Metagross and Scizor may be the only pokemon you won't be able to OHKO.

ok if item clause is in effect...
dragonite@ lum berry: this will prevent pokemon like dusknoir from will o wisping you and cutting your ttack
togekiss@ choice specs run aura sphere
    jolteon: choice scarf
    snorlax @leftovers
espeon@ life orb - espeon is in nu so if this is an ou team you might want to consider better options eg. that gengar you had, starmie or lucario
    metagross@ occa berry/shuca berry

    o.0

    Good Idea, lol,
I'll get on obtaining a HeartScale right away, because I didnt get swords dance.....
but what move should I delete?
