I think Giovanni's gotten a little old...

Well, it seems that he knows of team Galactic so maybe he will make a return and Mewtwo might too.

EXACTLY. Its not Giovanni- its those idiots. They started out as evil villans, and as time prrogressed, they turned stupid. And they keep getting stupider. Whats making Giovanni seem old is Meowths ideas about how their plans will make him happy.

and Giovanni i don't think is getting old, its "Team Rocket" as in Jessie, James and Meowth, they've been old news since the end of the first season like others have said, the "big" team rocket will probably be doing something big, like a race against galactic for the legendary pokemon of sinnoh.

The two branches I believe is the Kanto Branch and the Johto branch. He sent JJM to Hoenn to try and help investigate and start a TR branch there.


I miss the old days of Pokemon, Team Rocket actually does/did bad things that actually happen in real life. Giovanni is a mafia leader really. He should have a lot of power. We just don't see any of it.

Which they seemed to have succeeded, kinda, since the Promo had Rayquaza being captured by Sebastian.

Actually, considering the fact that he and his minions used para-military vehicles (Attack Submarines, Tanks, Jeeps, Helecopters with weapon systems, mechanized pokemon with the ability to kill humans, and other things of that nature.), I think that He was more like an evil Military official than a mafia boss (You know, like a certain Austrian dictator). I mean, how many Mafia organizations do you know that use any of those vehicles (Especially the Subs, Tanks, and Weapons-installed helecopters) on a regular basis, much less use them, period.

Actually, Team Rocket just followed Ash there, and weren't sent by Giovanni. After that I guess other Team Rocket members followed, and made a branch that way.

Actually, Giovanni DID send them to Hoenn(could be wrong, my knowledge of the anime has gone down a bit since I dont have cable and cant watch it...nor do I want to with the way it is now). They just followed him to Sinnoh, they told Giovanni, Giovanni said make a branch there. We all know they wont succeed, but yeah...thats what happened.
 
I'll post to retract somewhat my previous statement (they can't write evil canon characters), as Homura and Izumi were pretty evil (in the Slateport episode and the Weather Institute one, respectively). Why don't we get them back, instead? Homura might fit well with the Rockets, or at least, Giovanni might have someone to appreciate, as Homura's had more success than most of the canon characters.
 
In case you didn't know, the characters don't really age in it...
Because Ash still looks the same, as does Oak, Brock, and Ash's mom.

XD True, he's only actually appeared about 7 or 8 times, I'm sure. It's just Meowth's fantasies make it seem he's in every other episode.

i disagree. they do age... sort of. mabye they don't look any different but they act different. and i like to thnk ive seen ash get a little taller but theres no real way to determine that
 
I think the characters age but its not really said directly. Look at the third movie where ash states that he has known pikachu for a year. Now by my theory this means every three seasons ash ages 1 year, so lets see 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 so that works out to ash's current age being 14. Which does work because he seems more mature and even looks a bit older then he was in the kanto days.

Which would work better if he was around more to serve as a good contrast to Meowth's... slashy fantasies. Shifty eyes.
