    Apparently, no.

    Example:

    I made a thread asking what people have against ubers.

    This dude came and said all this stuff about how I should stop whining about how people won't battle my team. Worst part about that is: I wasn't. He also went on to say how I should get some strategy. He ended that with asking me to name all the pokemon that belong to the uber group, then said he was wondering if I knew the answer to that, as if I was stupid.

    I have some news for you, Alter Ego: I ain't no n00b. Been playing Pokemon since Yellow came out. ..And just because I use ubers does NOT mean you can automatically pass me off as stupid and brainless. If ya don't know nothin', don't say nothin'.

    While we appreciate the fact that you feel strongly about this, personal attacks aren't allowed on the community. If you have an issue with another poster, you should take it to PM, contact a staff member directly or report the post - this counts as a flame, which is against community rules.

    Seriously, like Jedi_Amara said: if you've got an issue with me then take it out with me; don't spam up PC with your personal grudges. Yes, I admit that part of my post was out of line and I do apologize for that, but you just posed the same unmotivated argument that countless people before you (all of them bona-fide N00Bs) have done so I'm afraid you struck nerve. Even so, you could have simply asked me to be more civil about it (and reported if I didn't comply) rather than saturating your next post with assorted swear-words and further inflaming the situation. :\

    Finally, I asked that question precisely to see whether or not you know what you're talking about. A lot of people confuse legendaries with ubers. You could just have said: ubers are [Insert definition here] and counter-argued instead of spouting accusations against me. (I don't much appreciate people calling my arguments 'bullshit' just because they don't agree with them. xP) Also, time spent playing on your gameboy doesn't guarantee any knowledge of competitive battling (to which tiers like 'uber' belong); I've been playing since the first two pokemon games came out here and I was still clueless about competitive before I found NetBattle and I know a certain ex-forumite who's been playing for years upon years and still hasn't learned anything.

    So yeah, how about sorting these things out in a more mature way in the future? Feel free to argue with me over PM if you think you can sort it out without resorting to constant swearing and baseless accusations. Otherwise, just use the 'Ignore' list.

    Okay, I think this can be closed now - once again, as has been said, keep personal issues to PM, and not on the boards. The Questions and Feedback forum is not designed for this sort of problem.
