Hey, I watch the show "Pokemon" and I really like it.
I'm sure all of you have noticed the many many repetitive voices from the show! Im sure the same human played at least 30 different characters on the show!
Did you know that Tracey and Giovanni are played by the same person?
    And Brock and James?
    Misty and Jessie?
    Ash and his mom?
Well, I think that if I get a role, it might change.
Does anyone know where I go to get a role, or who I can ask to get me one?
    Thanks in advance.

Sorry, but you can't get yourself a role. They don't go off and hire everyone that wants a job. You need to have gone to some acting coruses and had some prior experince with voice acting. Of course the voices are going to sound the same, it is a very long anime, pushing 350 plus episodes.

Oh, you forgot Brock, James and the Narrator. They were all the same person up until Hoenn.

I would do a voice on that show, but only if they put Asmodia in it.

"My powers are fully restored. Now, we'll SEE who is the strongest Pokemon alive..."

And yeah. They've actually used kids to do voices of NPC-type characters in the show. Check Johto for this. There are some episodes that make you wonder if the voice actors actually read the script...

"You are no longer in control of my body!!!!!!!! YEAAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!! ... ... ... Now, I am free..."

Ya, the new narrator is some guy named Mike Polack, I've talked to him before on some other boards. He says that you do need at least some acting school before you get hired. Those kids were all part of a contest kids wb had a few years back, where you got to be a one time voice if you won.

The new narrarator is temporary? (I like the old one anyways)

Oh, and don't forget May. She's also played by the same voice actor as Ash and Delia (his mom.)

I'm pretty sure that KidsWB doesn't take care of the hiring. I think 4Kids Productions do. Don't get your hopes up, though, because like the other posts, you have to get training in from schools and other places like that.

Notice that you'll hear the voices in other shows other than Pok?mon. Most notibly Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh, who's played by Brock's voice actor. Also listen to FoxBOX (4Kids owns it.)

Nope, the new narrator is full time, he also does the voice of Eggman on Sonic X. Kids WB doesn't make the choices on the voices most of the time, but in that one case 4kids let them do it so they could do the contest.

Aww, well, I hope 4Kids keeps Pokemon on the air for the next..what? 10 years?

Pokemon isn't going anywhere. Don't worry.

Yeah, you need some classes in voice acting to get the moods right and also to match your speaking to the movement of their lips. I think the latter is the hardest.
