I want to do competetive, but I'll need some help!

I was really getting bored of pearl by now, but I thought I'd try and make a good competetive team!
But I want to do something new, with Pokemon not generally used much... None of these Blisseys and annoying 'LA DI DA SUBSTITUTE SUBSTITUTE SUBSTITUTE' pokemon!!
Okeys, so I decides to get me some Pokemon... Here's what I'm thinking.

Snorlax
Houndoom
Dugtrio
Porygon - Z
Dusknoir

I think it sounds like a reasonable line up. Here's what I need y'all help on

• EV TRAINING - Thing is, I don't know the first thing about these, so I'll need A LOT over here
• MOVESETS - I have pretty much every TM, and if you've got suggestions over here then you might want to give me a hand in....
• STRATEGIES - Speaks for itself, dunnit?
• THE POKEMON IN THE TEAM - I like the ones I've got now, but if you think something would be better then I'm all listening
