I cant stop for a full rate, but this line stood out. It's not too much of a problem, everything has its weaknesses and boltbeam just happens to be common. If it wasnt T-bolt it would be something else.
 
This team still needs something that can stand up to Heracross and Gallade.
 
Thinking on that Cradily set lol, I was a bit too optimistic. It would get hit after power trick then get hit again and die most propably lol.

Alright but I'd really get something that can defeat Heracross and company, because wow do they slaughter you or what.

Gallade is also a load of trouble as Choice Band Leaf Blade is simply the end of you.

Yanmega built to take hits from Heracross and Gallade? Are you serious?

Nothing can really counter both but I'd really consider Spiritomb. Then agian Megahorn would still be a huge problem but meh.

you have a serious fighting weak, and your physical wall can't recover its hp. go for a fighting resist.

Simply, Dusknoir with Fire Punch, Shadow Punch, Will-o-Wisp and Pain Split.
That should work right?

It's good but Night Slash will hurt from Gallade. A lot. It does solve your Heracross problem though.

I dunno your team doesn't have many handy resists.
 
Well then Why not play Shadow Sneak?? Althought Gallade can take hits, that should do better because i will hit twice it will hit once.

Well Noir SHOULD have shadow Sneak but it won't help you switch in and take attacks from Gallade. that being said, the Pain Split / sahdow Sneak Combo will work on about anything, and gallade is no excpetion. Just be VERY careful for Night Slash.
 
Right I will. I guess everyteam must have a weakness and mine is Gallade.
 
Yeah but I'd maybe consider a Steel wall or something.

then again a team would need about 4 walls to cover all the weaknesses a team can have and a few solid sweepers so meh.

At least Gallade isn't very common :P

I just played someone with a Gallade start and was gonna own it with skarm but i had to Critical Hit twice XD
then a weavile Glitch. Explain this to me please.
This dude knows that he has trick room set up and switches in his salamence who gets hit by stealth rock loses alot of HP, I hit with Metagross Meteor Mash, it misses. He dragon Dances, I hit Meteor Mash Again and it misses o.o he then flamethrowers me to death. After that I throw in my Max speed weavile and he outruns me yet again.... how in god's name is that possible,........
also in the same match, hypnosis misses 4/5 times and 3 critical hits 2 of which on consecutive turns. bad day.

About Dusknoir, I think I need an EV spread and i'm done ^_^
Any suggestions?

Be careful, I've seen a few Heatran that runs off HP Electric. Maybe not life-threatening to Milotic, but still something to watch out.


And, off topic, I've also seen one HP Electric SpecsMence. Caught me by surprize. They put HP on anyting, huh? :P

I actually run HP electric on Heatran whenever I use it...either that or HP Grass.

HP electirc is stupid on specsMence since a Modest specsmence OHKOs Gyarados anyways.

Milotic will stop Heatran cold and being stuck on an electric attack doesn't really bode well for Heatran either since you can switch to Garchomp and set up.

Meh, the same can be said about any Choice user. Regardless on what we say is best on Heatran, they are out there. So be careful.

Second, that's how he battled, and he's a damn good battler too. This is one of those "play with what works" situations. It works for him, so lets not comment on it. It's just an intersting fact I bought up.
 
No, I lvoe HP Electric/Grass on Heatran. it just won't be OHKOing Milotic or anything.

Honestly this team is very stallable with 3 Choice Attackers. I've tried 3 choice Attackers...it can have a payoff but it blows up in your face more often than not.

SDchomp is way better than Scarfchomp so I'd use that. you need to drop the choice Item thing here. Maybe run Nasty Plot Pory Z.
 
umm just wanted to bring this up: just as rare as gallade is in competitive battle, it's also not common to see it with night slash, so all in all, i don't see the concern.
 
can anyone suggest a moveset for Dusknoir please?
