I am mad because I was sick today and yesterday and felt better for two hours and now i am getting sick all over again. And I went to the hospital Monday because I was 106. And 100 degrees is pretty funny.

Since pikachu and Jordan have grown up together they have similar personalities. Jordan caught pikachu the day he set out on his journey. Jordan has all 8 badges from counto and has beaten the elite four. He has also compete in many tournaments around the world. Her smiles and mannerisms are gracious and serene, and indeed the atmosphere of ease and gentleness never leaves her side. She glows with a certain naive, cheerful radiance that is rarely found in the world, both a result of her innate personality and her secluded, private upbringing. She is quick to place her trust in others, often looking at their benevolent side and ignoring most of their negative characteristics. Her ingenuousness and pleasantness makes her all the more endearing, and one cannot help but feel that she is extraordinarily fragile and needs to be protected.

Her behaviour is not always so bright, however. There are periods of time during which she is remarkably morose and sorrowful; though this does not occur very often, she is downcast whenever something doesn't happen the way she expects it to happen. Her smile, constantly maintained, takes on a more austere edge, expressing her emotions quite accurately. When she is embarrassed, a quite noticeable blush appears on her features, and she has the tendency to incline her head slightly, typically not able to say very much in response. She expresses mild disapproval quite vocally, but intense dislike is never directly represented to its subject. Appearance: Luxurious hair, a pleasant tint of light violet, falls down naturally to Amelia's waist, fanning out in a contiguous, smooth flow. It appears well-brushed and slightly lustrous, and a small part of it covers the top of the right side of her face. A single cloth butterfly wing dangles from the left side of her head, where a velvet bow and woven rose of the same impressive shade of black are located. On her throat is a fluttering decoration of black and white silk, soft to the touch. Her eyes are a vividly crystalline orchid, blinking innoculously. Her skin is fairly pale, tinged with an allusion to a light peach, and her hands possess a gossamer-like slenderness and delicacy.

Amelia's height is not a dominating one, standing at approximately 160 cm, or some three inches over five feet. Her physique is rather on the lithe side, cutting a statuesque, radiant figure. She blushes a little when one asks her how much she weighs, but it is observed by any casual passersby that she does not have the appearance of retaining any significant amount of mass.

The dress she wears is of the same material as her choker-esque accessory, fitting her body quite well and sketching out a relatively thin and elegant figure, flaring outwards a short moment after reaching the waist. The dress is endowed with lavish amounts of white lace, wrapping around the dark material of the dress in a shining flurry of captured movement; as well, numerous strips of fabric are stitched on as decorative accessories, creating a visual cascade that is a little difficult to follow at times. On the left strap of her dress is a jet-black rose, blooming outwards in all its enigmatic splendor.

Background: Amelia was born into a prestigious family. The history of the Luminis-Serena bloodline, "fair of light", though not extraordinarily ancient or distinguished, was illustrious and eminent to a certain degree. Her father was a historian-archaeologist, and her mother had been a teacher of music before she died in childbirth. Her father was devastated by this, and in his grief threw himself into his work with a passion. Thus, Amelia's early years, the period of time from her birth until three to four years of age or so, were dominated by the intimate relationship that she had with her nurse. It was observed that she from her birth had an aura of natural prominence and exaltation around her, mixed with an atmosphere of gentility and kindness.

The Luminis-Serena estate was home to a variety of fossil Pokemon, including species such as Aaken, Anorith, and Omanyte. One such Pokemon, Aaken, became Amelia's friend after an encounter involving an apple, a tree, and the Aaken saving the girl from the consequences of the fall. Soon enough it seemed that she had an affinity with many Pokemon; this coincided with her father's end of his grieving period, and life seemed to return to what it should have been. Her father commanded tutors from every sort of subject to impart their knowledge to her, and they did. Her intellectual capacity was surprisingly spacious, and even though she was not extremely competent at mathematics or the two sciences (chemistry and physics), she excelled in all of her other subjects.

When Amelia reached the age of seven, her father asked that she be tutored in music, in any instrument that she wished to choose for herself - as both a way to refine her sophistication and a clear reminder of her dead mother. She chose something unorthodox and unexpected by his father - the instrument that was chosen was her voice. She received continuous instruction in the usage of her voice in music from that point on, and gained a moderate-to-large amount of skill with it.

Unconventionally schooled - rather, taught privately - Amelia was allowed to depart on her first journey, accompanied by the same Aaken that had been her perpetual companion for seven or so years as well as a dangerous species, a Monozu, that she had pacified when she was taken to a nationally-renowned laboratory to choose her first Pokemon. Clearing a path effortlessly through gym leaders with her unusual ability to predict the tactics of her opponents, one might say that she had an uncommon talent for battling; it is probable, however, that the sheer power level of her Pokemon also had something to do with this phenomenon, as Archeos and Sazandora are both extremely fast and capable attackers. She was able to be enrolled in the Suzuran Conference and achieve success until the fifth round, in which the raw strength of her team was outclassed by the appearance of legendary Pokemon in the competition.

Personality: It would be quite apt to describe Delphinus's personality as a little mercurial and occasionally even overbearing; he is very quick to shift from cheerfulness to irritation, and vice versa. However, he possesses a manner of speech - an innate, fiery charisma constantly glowing with an astounding brilliance - which easily draws others into his company and creates endless conversation from him, regarding various topics. Arrogance, in this case, most certainly does not equate itself with rudeness, either; Delphinus is perfectly polite and civil (or rather, he appears to be polite and civil), and appearances are, after all, everything. In most situations his remarks, though imbued with disdain, are cloaked with infuriating apologias, and to the unsuspecting onlooker it would seem that his conduct is impeccable.

Of course, the above behaviour is only usually exhibited towards members of his own gender. With members of the opposite sex, his demeanor is more often than not much milder, gallant even, moving with effortless grace and soft half-smiles on his visage. He is not given to embarrassment often, and appears abruptly startled and out-of-character when someone manages to surprise him in such a fashion. His responses, otherwise, are swift and to the point, acting in the most effective way possible - however, he takes care to imbue flair and finesse in his movements, for if he did not have those, then what difference was there between him and a large portion the common populace?

His arrogance, however, is also his downfall. He chronically underestimates a situation's difficulty, and relies on a mixture of agility, prowess, and a small dosage of fortune to push him through; he is not much of a preparatory person, and even though he does form strategies in advance and makes provisions for them, if the previously mentioned factors fail him he is typically without another outlet or avenue of execution of his original objective, and has to improvise - something that is not very much his strong suit. Regardless, though, his resolve is stronger than steel when he decides that something must be done.

Appearance: Glossy chestnut hair, quite smooth in texture, flows in a moderately straight manner down to the top of his neck. Long strands of it dangle in front of his face, sometimes obstructing his vision, even if only momentarily. His eyes are a shimmering, watery emerald, a marginally condescending atmosphere of analysis and indifference spilling out of them. A half-smile lingers on his lips, a light pink in color, as if hinting at some matter of amusement hidden to the casual observer. His skin is a very light olive, and exhibits a faint glow to it. His fingers are of a medium length and temperament, and their nails are well-manicured and meticulously cared for.

Delphinus possesses a rather medium stature, standing at about two inches below six feet, or rather 178 cm. His form is not particularly lanky or buff, though of course it is on the thin side of things, relatively speaking. He prefers not to talk about his weight, often brushing past the subject with an innocent blink, but anyone who has met him would say that he does not appear to weigh very much at all.

Delphinus typically wears a white velvet trenchcoat, which has been kept in pristine condition - though of course that would likely change, given the terms of the contest. The sleeves are a middling length, leaving the forearms bare, and embroidered on the sleeves are bands of white, blue, and then white again. Attached to the white sleeves are black extensions, their shades perfectly matching the ones of his cotton trousers, which are held in place by a dark leather belt, its rectangular buckle a glistening platinum. Underneath the trenchcoat is a wool waistcoat of the same tint, cobalt buttons of painted brass glinting in the light, and then a collared dark blue silken shirt lined with silver thread. On his feet are a pair of leather shoes with slightly bolstered heels - increasing his height about a centimetre or so - which were tailored for athletic activity, but managed to preserve an air of their formality. At his side is a maple scabbard, painted a rich forestal green, accompanied by the weapon it holds. Several holsters are installed on his belt, to account for the spaces that his Pokeballs would occupy.

History: Delphinus was not born into an exceedingly rich family. His father was a practitioner of law, a barrister, and his mother a researching chemist and biologist (or more accurately, a biochemist). Hence, they were quite well off - though his father did not exactly make income on the level of entrepreneurs, his family was able to enjoy a relatively sheltered life. Delphinus took up flute when he was five years old, and swordsmanship when he became seven. His skills in those arts have been honed to a fairly sharp edge, so to speak, and he is able to inflict quite punishing blows upon an unwitting opponent with his metal flute, though he prefers not to do so on account of it being possibly harmful to his instrument. He did not neglect a traditional education very much, either, and gained mastery of topics such as mathematics, chemistry, and physics very quickly, but failed horrifically at history and biology, and had to receive tutoring from his mother before he was able to achieve any degree of competence.

At the age of ten, on his birthday, he received his first Pokemon - Hitomoshi, an intriguing but quiet Ghost/Fire type Pokemon who initially masqueraded as one of the birthday candles on the cake. Delphinus was quite amused by this, and after his father knocked it out he asked his father if the latter could capture it for him. As he did not have prior experience with Pokemon, he simply called it Hitomoshi, and that was that - the concept of nicknaming Pokemon would never enter his mind. Interest suddenly piqued in the world of Pokemon, he quickly finished the curriculum at an accelerated rate and entered the world as a novice trainer with Hitomoshi at the age of fourteen.

Initially, he did not achieve very much success - he would often falter and forget what he was supposed to do mid-combat, and the match would be thrown, or he would fail to use the correct type of move and thus lose - such occurrences were commonplace with the duo. Undiscouraged, he worked diligently towards his goals, and was finally able to defeat his first series of gym leaders in Sinnoh after a year. Extremely excited by these developments and glad that his work had allowed him to finally succeed, he went on to enter into the Suzuran Conference; suffering a loss in the third preliminary round to a headstrong trainer that completely bewildered him, he was forced to refine his battling techniques. A scant six months later, just a few weeks after he had finished his training, he received the telepathic message that was to change his life forever.

The heat of the midday sun sweltered upon the young man's skin as he sheathed his sword for perhaps the hundredth time that day, though it was likely more often. The young man in question was practicing his swordsmanship upon a straw dummy, which stood in a courtyard in the gardens of the Celerin mansion (though, really, to call it a mansion was a little of an exaggeration - it was more of a very large house). A glint of brilliance appeared suddenly in the young man's eyes, and he drew the sword again from the maple scabbard in a swift, fluid motion, creating yet another cut across the straw puppet. Considering the location where he had attacked for a moment, the young man sighed and let his blade slide back into the sheathe with a sibilant 'shiiiiing'.

Adventure was not something that he wanted to be on his mind at the moment. He had been training for the better part of the last six months or so, only to be met with the news that it now had a different purpose. He was supposed to have re-embarked on his Pokemon journey today, and he had made plans to do so; packed his supplies, and so on. He was supposed to be heading for Sinnoh at the moment, without a care in the world - in fact, he hadn't had a care in the world until that fateful day.

But how could he now? Not while there was a world to save. As disconcerting as the telepathic voice was, he could not help but feel that there was, in fact, a tinge of truth to it. And so he had accordingly packed more supplies into his suitcase, readying himself for survival in the wilderness; annihilation of the planet was not something that he wanted to see happen, and his family, friends, and his Pokemon would be on the line, to say the least. If he was chosen, then that signified he could make a difference, did it not? He would be as prepared as he could be for whatever challenge the Harbinger had in mind for him.

His mind drifted back to the telepathic message.

He sighed again, in frustration. He was being foolish. Calmness had always been his strong suit; he desperately needed to cool his mind. Perhaps the prophecy was something his subconscious fabricated? But that thought, of course, vanished immediately. As imaginative as it was, the message was far too detailed. So his only real course of action was to maximize his preparation, and to wait for the beginning of the ... whatever event it was called, or would be called. He could not recall a name for it in any case.

Time flew by. The afternoon slipped past, and evening fell. Night descended.

When the morning came, the young man - Delphinus Celerin - was gone from his room. It was reported that a flash of white light had erupted inside his room sometime during the night, but that was perceived as unrelated - after all, how would simple light be able to whisk someone away like that?

He wished to find for her a suitable life partner, even at her insistence that it was unnecessary, and though she escaped from his influence for a short time - three months or so - bodyguards were eventually dispatched and escorted her back to home, where she had to sit through a multitude of interviews that she had no interest in. This was the state of events when the telepathic message from the Harbinger reached her, one summer afternoon...

A silver curtain poured from the sky, relentlessly scattering droplets of water into the world below. The Luminis-Serena castle lay in the middle of the countryside, a few acres of well-maintained garden environment encircling it. A girl, scarcely fourteen years of age, sat upon the grand stone steps before the castle, a contemplative expression upon her fair countenance. A green gel-like mass holding the body of a small doll in the centre floated next to her; wherever a droplet of water would touch them, they seemed to flow off to the side instead, as if an invisible bubble surrounded them.

Milady.

What's wrong?

The girl smiled wistfully in response to her Lanculus's query. "Mm... There isn't much wrong, I think. Not really..." She pondered the topic for a brief moment, then fell silent.

Hardly an accurate statement of the degree of your disquietitude, milady. ... If you don't mind me probing about it.

"Nothing you need to worry about, Lanculus." The girl's smile grew a little more sorrowful; even so, a natural elegance radiated from her melancholic features.

... Miss. The green Multiplying Pokemon blinked, and began to glow with a faint energy. A faintly rosy outline surrounded the Pokemon, fading after a few brief moments as it opened its eyes again. ... I see.

The girl's expression gained a hint of mischievousness. "You know you're not supposed to do that, Lanculus." She petted her companion lightly on its forehead. "... Yes."

Almost unnoticeably, a sparkle appeared at the corner of the girl's eyes. She quickly closed them, drawing in air through her mouth sharply.

"... I know. Lanculus. ... My friends. " She whispered, her voice hushed, addressing all of her Pokemon now, enclosed though they were inside their Pokeballs at her side.

You should start making preparations immediately, I think. If you want the expedition to succeed at all. For the first time during the long conversation, a small smile appeared on the corners of the lime, gel-covered doll's mouth. I... have some suggestions, if I may.

The girl nodded slightly, blinking tears back furiously. "I understand. We will, won't we?" She let out a slightly ragged breath. "... I don't know how I could ever thank all of you, enough times."

There is no need. We serve because you are... special to us.

Amelia closed her eyes again, taking a ponderous moment.

"... Let's go." She exhaled, inhaled, exhaled again. Stood up. Her mind flickered back to the telepathic message that she received, earlier that day.

Rankurusu dipped its head slightly, as if in acknowledgment and reinforcement of her thoughts. She began to walk back towards the castle.

Name: Mason Darend

Gender: Male

Age: 18

Personality: Mason is a very confident indivdual, some would say overconfident. If he sees someone who looks meek or shy, he will walk right up to them and attempt to strike up a conversation. This confidence led to cockiness at times early on in his journey unfortunately and that got him into a bit of trouble. He is a bit unsure of himself after the loss against the Pokemon League Champion, but keeps driving on no matter what the challenge is.

His is a ruthless battler, using what some would call "unconventional" techniques to win battles but when he is around his Pokemon one on one, he is very caring and understanding. He will stop at nothing to save a Pokemon from unecessary harm or abuse.


Appearance: Mason is fairly tall, being around 6'1" and having an "athletic" build . He has short, light brown hair that sticks up all over the place. His eyes (blue) have been compared to glaciers by his closest friends. He has a rather large scar going down the right side of his face. He sports a tattoo of a Lugia and Ho-oh on both sides of his ribcage and darkrai on his right arm.

Mason wears an all black attire. Black, baggy jeans and a black, pocketed vest over a gray sleeveless shirt. His belt has attachments for 6 Pokeballs as well as his Pokedex. He also wears leather, fingerless gloves.


History: At a very early age in life Mason was exposed to Pokemon when his Mother gave him his first Pokemon, a Squirtle. Wherever Mason went, Shellshock went with him. They grew up together, with a bond like no other. He grew up as any other normal boy would in the Kanto region. Hailing from Vermillion City, he has an affinity for the ocean and marine Pokemon.

At the age of 10 he started his journey around the region collecting badges and Pokemon. He quickly became known for his "balls to the wall" battle style. When he was 12, he challenged the Pokemon League, or rather they were challenged by him. Mason lost to the champion though and returned to his hometown, determined to become a better Pokemon Trainer. He worked with the Gym Leader, LT. Surge, learning new techniques and styles of battle, while working on the Docks of Vermillion. He was preparing to challenge the Champion again when a voice echoed inside his head...

The dim lighting of the Vermillion Gym didn't exactly help with the excruciating heat that filled the arena. Two Pokemon stood in the middle, a Magmar which was Mason's and an Electivire which was LT. Surge's. The Electivire was badly weakened, one more shot should bring the match to an end.

"Okay Ignus, Finish it with fir-" Mason's vision darkened.

You have been selected to represent humanity. You have one day to prepare all that you wish to bring.
For the next year, you will prove yourself... Failure to do so, will result in the extinction of the human race, and all those you love.
Be warned, this journey will not be easy ,and if you are to persevere with the challenges ahead, you will be cause to my appearance, do well and humanity survives.
I as the Harbinger, will be watching.

Mason's vision returned and stomach dropped. Was he crazy? He must be after that vision, but it seemed so real. But his mind wandered back to when those arrests occured and that prophecy that was hushed up. His fear of being crazy was quickly replaced by eagerness. He returned his Pokemon and said "Sorry LT, gotta go!" and sprinted home to pack his ruck and gather up his Pokemon. He didn't know exactly what conditions to pack for so he just packed for every condition he could think of. After accessing his PC and getting his team together, he sat in his room. Sleep did not take him that night.

Bern isn't much of of social person as she is a complete emotionless young lady. Because of her family's wealth, her family doesn't go to regular public school. They are home-schooled. Bern is the most intelligent child of her family, and spends most of her time among books. She wishes to be a writer when she is older, but her parents would like her to become a doctor. Because of Bern's emotionless personality, she is very hard to make conversation with, and is one that doesn't smile often. Heck, a picture of her smiling would be worth a fortune! Crying, double.

However, underneath her straight face is someone who really enjoys the company she gets; she just doesn't know how to show it. She can be extremely blunt at times, which can make alot of people upset. Bern is very fond of young children as she is people her age, and she becomes rather motherly towards them.

With extremely long black hair and shiny emerald green eyes, she is a natural beauty. Along with her D cup, many boys usually drool at the sight of her. However, Bern doesn't exactly understand love, so she turns down each and every one of them. Her face is just a little darker to be non-sickly, and she has small pale pink lips. She has learned not to eat too much, so she has some curves. Alot of her weight builds on her thighs, so that is another reason why she doesn't eat much. Many have said this was unhealthy of her, but she ignores all comments. Bern's build is more of the wire-typed muscle instead of the bulky kind, so she is stronger than she looks. She has a long scar across her upper arm, so she usually wears long sleeved shirts, dresses, or jackets to cover it up. She thinks of it as a a sign of her weakness. She bruises easily. Bernkastel is a little over five foot eight, and she weighs about a hundred twenty five.

For attire, it varies. Her favorite colors are black and white, so she usually dresses in those colors. She isn't a big dress fan, and she doesn't like showing her legs. So, she usually sticks to a pair of comfortable jeans or a long skirt that covers her knees. She never wears any makeup except for a bit of coverup for those stupid pimples and lip palm for cracked lips.

Age 0-5: Being the final child of the rich Vermillia family, she already had alot of weight on her shoulders at birth. High expectations from her parents. Having three older siblings that were training to be in high-paying jobs, it was obvious Bern wasn't into money since age five. She showed great interest in books and story-telling, and it was then that Bern announced she was not going to listen to her parents.

Age 6-10: During this period of her life, Bernkastel's parents have attempted to drive her into becoming a doctor, though without success. However, something was obviously wrong with their child when her teachers complained of Bern not paying attention during class, and then getting exceeding marks otherwise on her report cards. She was taken to a doctor during age nine, and her doctor diagnosed her with autistic disorder. When she was ten years old, she saw another specialist, and that specialist confirmed that she did not have autism, but another form of a disorder that could not be diagnosed until she was older.

Age 11-15: This is when sparks really started to flare. Bern began to sleep less, but it wasn't insomnia. Unable to draw attention easily, or drawing attention to unimportant objects that wasn't autism. With her parents becoming frustrated, they took her to a grouping of personality specialists when she was fourteen, and that was when she was finally diagnosed properly. Bernkastel Vermillia had a type of of bipolor disorder called "Manic Episode Disorder".
