2nd Gen ID numbers

    I was just wondering how many of you have restarted a game and gotten the same ID number as one of the other ones in the past??
    If somebody has let me know if you trade the old pokemon with the new pokemon but they both have the same ID number will the pokemon gain extra EXP points or will it act as if your trading with your self??
     
    I dont keep track of my ID numbers...sorry
     
    I did once, I have 35675 in Crystal and in Red I have the same one. But it will treat it as a traded pokemon.
