4th Gen Idea for an all new pokemon game

Ok heres my idea to nintendo: STOP MAKING NEW POKEMON BEFORE IT GETS OUTTA HAND! this doesnt mean you cant, however, create new games. Im thinking of a game that combines the four regions and the sevii islands into one ultra pokemon game. Just think about this for a second, First we start off in kanto, bringing back good memories eh? yeah i thought so, anyways, afterwards you board the vermillion town's very own S.S. Anne and head to Johto where you are greeted by prof. elm and are told your pokemon cannot pass into the johto region for some reason, but are offered a johto starter pokemon in return of your trouble. You go through this and repeat ALL the way through sinnoh and then A REWARD! you get to visit the battle fronteir and are eligible to receive all event pokemon via the sevii isles.

Anyone think this game would kick ass?

I think it would be fantastically amazing. But you'd have to add something cool to change it so it's not just four games linked together. I would definetely play it because I REALLY miss Johto. And face it people...everyone wants this game to happen.

Though I think that after that they should still keep making more new pokemon and games, because people would get tired of the same old places and pokemon.

how dare you insist that the classics can get tiring! xD but i really miss johto too and i cant find a store ANYWHERE within a 1 hour drive that is selling a g/s/c and i miss the good ol' johto pokemon and those unique graphics lol

Jirachi3: I don't like your idea, it sounds like an overstuffing a Pokemon game, sorry.But what I do like is a GSC remake using some of the features of DP.

Actually I think that it would take a few years to make, they'd have to make it better than all of the previous games and add some wiggin' stuff. The graphics and features would all have to be beyond even D/P since we just played that a couple weeks ago. They'd almost have to have another generation before that...wait a sec. Just had an idea. The next gen could be sold in two VERY different versions. One is just the new region, the other starts in the new region then you travel through each of the other regions.

Yeah, I'd like a 3D RPG like Gale of Darkness, except based on the pokemon world, including all the continents and archipelagos. It would be so awesome to see the world of Pokemon Red (and others) in 3D. Maybe that'll be the next Pokemon game on the Wii (instead of another colosseum)

No, but good to see that you did't post this into Emulation or Game Development, cause we got more than enought threads of that kind.
Somehow its the typical newb idea. And besides, everyone and his dog is making an G/S/C Johtostyle game.

I think its unoriginal and won't happen anytime soon, jet i guess they will make a Johto based game for Generation 4, like they did a Kanto based for Gen 3.

I do think it would be a good game for the Pokemon enthusiasts.. but for those who just play it casually, I think it would be a very long game. Think of the hours you just put into one generation game, never mind 4 lol. Anyway, I'd find it entertaining anyway.
