it can be so hard to come up with location names & you can do some many things with the many locations in the tohaku region of japan <.>

my region is based on that region of japan, by the way

i kinda want the forest/tunnel outside of Farnfoss village to be named 'farnfoss forest/farnfoss tunnel' - https://pokemonfanon.fandom.com/wiki/Aurabbi?so=search#name_origin

Farnfoss Forest has nice alliteration, but Farnfoss Weald has a nice ring to it too imo.
As for the tunnel, how about: Farnfoss Burrow, to imply it's not a man-made tunnel but one dug out by the Aurabbi instead =3

the mountain surrounding farnfoss village/farnfoss forest/farnfoss tunnel has to have a name, i know that - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hakkōda_Mountains *in the first pic in the link*.... like how the mountain in sinnoh is named mt.coronet :>

Name depends a bit on what type of mountain you'd want imo
The link is about a volcanic mountain range so...

-Mount Ascona (bit of corruption: As from Ash, cona is from volcano with the a and o swapped because it sounds better to me). If you prefer Ascano that's fine too ofc.
-Mount Gaulver (no real origin for this one, I just liked the name when it popped into my head =p)
-Mount Kinbur (Kinetic + Burn)
-Mount Undol/Sunolc (Sunder + Volcano)
-Mount Hakkol/Kodacan (Hakkōda + Volcano)

Do you already have an idea of what settings they are in, like say a desert town or a town on a cliff or one surrounded by a forest etc.
Could potentially try something based on the location they are in. For example:

-For a town in the mountains, potentially near a cliff: maybe Brightrock ?
-For a town in a swampy area: Wildemarsh ?
-A town at the shore surrounded by green fields: Greenshore ?

All the links in the post you linked are kind of information overload tbh xD

Might help to try and draw a simple map based on where you want what to be?
