  • Well, Popplio can be your starter of you're doing Gen 7, so you're good there.

Just make sure you don't run out of Pokemon. ??????

I did not mean the Duplicate clause, I meant this:

"Shiny Clause: If the player encounters a shiny wild Pokémon, they may catch it, even if a wild Pokémon has already been encountered in that area. This does not count as the encounter for that area."
I looked up what would be considered 'official Nuzlocke rules' and it would seem that you're really only meant to use Pokemon caught from the game itself.
I do believe there is a 'shiny clause' that allows the player to catch and use a Pokemon even if you've already caught one on that route before.
I've heard of another challenge similer to a Nuzlocke called an 'Egglocke' that might let you use eggs, but I don't know enough about it to say for sure...
There's also multiple dual type Pika clones such as Emolga, Dedenne, Togedemaru & Morpeko.
Hoenn had two pika clones in Plusle & Minun so it's not like it's necessarily limited to 1 per region either.
I'd personally just continue the region for which I could still come up with stuff for and leave the other one be until I'd have inspiration for it again.
I don't remember every bit of geographical info I put in every entry, but there were mainly mountains and forests I think. And lake or two and some mentions of shores... I think.
Maybe it's continental Europe condensed into an island? =P or at least a country which borders the sea.

I had no particular country in mind when writing them though.
Covers a pretty wide range of activities.
    - Runs Pokemon-themed Pictionary regularly.
    - Noticed Pokemon Mystery Dungeons and Dragon(ite)s Session 0 going on today and tomorrow (with a main session the week after).
    - Set up trivia for Entertainment & Media, Video Games, and Anime. Consists of identifying music, looking at images, and normal trivia. Cannot use Google. Requires teamwork to figure them out all of them.
    - Several art-based events: Speed Art, Fakemon Design Contest, and Create a Pokemon Card.
    - Some video games, playable in a browser, with a high score table
    - Battling events like Battle Bash and Fortune Cup
    - A challenge run of Pokemon. Sacrifices Pokemon to remove rules (for yourself or others).
    - Creating an outfit in Animal Crossing and Final Fantasy XIV

Helps to have Discord for some events.
Could be cool if you manage to draw them as Pokemon while still keeping that plush look.
Well in my experience working on too many things at once will usually result in nothing getting finished xD
I think you might wanna make a new post that doesn't have all the edit lines in them, it reads a bit messy tbh

    also
''the team of the region, Team Fable, several hundred years ago, after the events of legands arceus in the kanto region, made experiments on every pokemon in the region, be it wild or a trainer's pokemon. By using their specially designed signal ray, they made the Pokemon change their typings & overall appearance."

The bold part reads weird to me, as if the events of legends arceus took place in Kanto instead of Hisui? Dunno if the comma that comes after it is in the wrong place? So like:

''the team of the region, Team Fable, several hundred years ago, after the events of legends arceus, in the kanto region made experiments on every pokemon in the region, be it wild or a trainer's pokemon. By using their specially designed signal ray, they made the Pokemon change their typings & overall appearance."

Also, it's just in the Kanto region now then, not Johto too?
I did, but it's not like I always have time to immediately think on them.
Tend to save it for last on my forum browse as idk how long it will take.
Sometimes I come up with them fast, others I easily sit there for an hour or more =p
Kinda curious why they would only go after wild mons though? =p
Any mons out of their ball could be fair game 😈
    ^^
Idk anything about randomizers, but if it's a matter of checking some boxes you can probably enable Celebi somewhere.
But like, legitly speaking in a non-customized game, Celebi is only still obtainable in the Crystal VC afaik.

You could either have the ray have a random effect on whatever its pointed at, or could have it be equipped with like a focusing prism or something like that, where the color or type of prism would affect what the targeted mon ends up as.
For just backlore for a playthrough I think it suffices.

It's just that when I read through it, it just feels like you avoid mentioning any specifics. Like for example:

"the team of the region, Team Fable, waaaaaaay in the past, made experiments on every 1st stage wild pokemon in the region, by using some kinda flute/some kind of signal ray to make them come to their hq hideout, "

Why not just mention a number or perhaps a general indication of when it was instead of saying 'waaaaaaaay in the past'? And then there's 'some kinda flute/some kind of signal ray'.
Personally I'd just be more specific, like "the team of the region, Team Fable, several hundred years ago, made experiments on every 1st stage wild pokemon in the region. By using their specially designed signal ray they made the Pokemon come to their hideout."

Also this Team Fable doesn't have any mention of their motivation. It just says what they did, what the consequences are, and that they disbanded after their leader having a change of heart. Why did they do those experiments, what were they hoping to accomplish? Why did their leader have a change of heart? Did she realize something on her own or were there events that led up to it?
Team Fable in particular is the biggest thing here that lacks substance imo

    Also...
"the legendaries & mythicals have also somehow been affected..... or maybe not.... "
which is it? xD Again a case of no specifics I guess. I guess you might not have made your mind up yet, but just mentioning how they were affected or how they avoided being affected would sound a lot better imo. Like, for example:
-"The legendaries & Mythicals couldn't resist Team Fable's signal ray and have all become more aggressive and undergone a type change."
-"The legendaries & Mythicals were able to resist Team Fable's signal ray and are unaffected by their experiments."

Anyway, I'm hardly a professional writer lol
    Just my thoughts =3
I don't really hang out in the Writer's Lounge tbh =p

Seems a bit barebones atm, but not bad.
