INTRODUCTORY BLAH
Okay, this is just a brainstorm-y type thing I'm starting about a little idea I had for a hack, which I've now been mulling over for quite some time.
Now, I've seen a lot of hacks were people have inserted characters from other games - or, in some cases, anime shows - in place of Pokemon. This, in my opinion, is a pretty cool concept and I've been meaning to try it out for myself...
THE CONCEPT
A Smash Bros.-esque-themed hack, with characters from a variety of series - from the typical Mario, Sonic, Zelda, etc. to lesser expected ones such as Mortal Kombat or NiGHTS.
Each character would have move sets relevant to their in-game abilities (Sonic could learn Defense Curl and Bounce, for example, whilst Mario would learn Flamethrower and Fire Punch).
Trainer classes could be replaced with gamer stereotypes, with the Gym Leaders and Elite Four being replaced with important figures in the gaming industry, such as Shigeru Miyamoto or Reggie Fils-Aime.
The "legendaries" in this hack could be the mascots of different companies: Mario, Sonic, Snake and so on.
OR...
They could be the main villains, such as Bowser and Robotnik.

...Okay, my brain's gone kaput now. As I said, this thread is supposed to be a brainstorm, so feel free to throw around any ideas you might have!
