Well, technically, if Mew was the ancestor of all Pokemon, then that would mean he was the ancestor of all Pokemon. Despite there only being 149 Pokemon (excluding Mew and Mewtwo) in the first generation, the others that came after would still be contained in the clause of "all Pokemon".

Please note that Myuu may not be the ancestor of all Pokémon. The Pokédex entries state that scientists believe Myuu is the ancestor of all Pokémon. It doesn't make it true. Hell, science used to believe that Pluto was a planet.

"Its DNA is said to contain the genetic codes of all Pokémon, so it can use all kinds of techniques."

"Because it can learn any movehttps://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Move, some people began research to see if it is the ancestor of all Pokémon. "

"Mew is said to possess the genetic composition of all Pokémon. It is capable of making itself invisible at will, so it entirely avoids notice even if it approaches people."

"Because it can use all kinds of moves, many scientists believe Mew to be the ancestor of Pokémon."

Anyway, as for creating Myuutsuu again, it will never happen. End of story. Why? Because the scientists that did it before said that it took countless attempts. Every other specimen had apparently died (in the first movie, you see four failed experiments die in the Japanese version). No one else would attempt it after that, especially if they know of the carnage.

Not cool, don't be dissin' Pluto.

On Topic, they may attempt a more perfect "Mewthree" in the future, and have the Mewthree working for Team Rocket fight Mew and Mewtwo. That's a very large "may" though.

Mewtwo actually had only 149 out of the original 150's DNA, since Porygon is made entirely out of stabilized matter, which is organized by coding separate from it's physical body.

I can see an evil organization trying to recreate an ultimate pok
émon, such as Team Rocket or Galactic, (in fact, the Dubious Disk is belived by some to be an attempt at such a task, though it was not as succesful as hoped), but with One of the two teams almost completely annhilated, and the other one reformed, we won't see them attempting at anything of the sort anytime soon...

Assuming there's a technological enhancement in Pokemon Cloning, it could be attempted, assuming they get Mew's DNA again. If whoever tried knew what went wrong with Mewtwo the first tme, they might succeed in cloning a controllable Mewtwo. It's highly unlikely, though.

I thought that Arceus created the legendaries, then created Mew and Mew basically evolved/mutated into the multivarious species we know and love. Mewtwo was simply a clone of Mew, made from DNA found in a fossill.

I'm thinking something like this, also. Arceus existed before space and time, and begat the "Creation Pokemon": Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, and Regigigas. After the universe and Earth were made, the second batch of Legendaries were made to govern various aspects of Earth: Manaphy for the ocean, Celebi for the forest, Heatran for volcanoes, Articuno/Zapdos/Moltres for seasons, etc.

Then you had Mew, the common ancestor for the third batch of Pokemon, the terrestrial non-Legendaries.

Regardless, imagine if they used the splicing technologies responsible for Mewtwo on something like... say... ATTACK DEOXYS.

I think I've found my thesis project.

EDIT:i said 492 cause with Arceus that would be just wow

I think 488 is more appropriate. Arceus and Mewtwo with the three Porygon subtracted.

I think it should look purple or blue (Ditto). And another Mewtwo makes sense considering the shiny business. Only thing would be who to blame.

Umm... Guys, Mew is the ancestor of non-legendary pokémon, It is the ancestor of Rotom, and that makes rotom not legendary. That means the Mew is the ancestor of all pokémon - legendaries. And mew is the ancestor of pokemon from Generation 1 to infinity. It doesn't mean that the clone has happened in Generation 1 means that the pokemon doesn't have to do with any other generation. And yeah, the porygons are artificial. Ditto has some properties similar to mew, but still they are ancestered by mew.

If Mewtwo was made again it would go crazy and blow up tthe lab then Ash and the gang would have to stop it.

Well, I'm sure he'd still be antisocial/emo/hostile, probably resent society even more

Mew, I'd say, only created "organic" Pokemon. Creation Legends and Pixies are a given, but I'd say some, Bannette, Deoxys, Claydol(?), Porygon, and what are now Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, to name a few, Could be separate from average Pokemon. They obviously abide by the rules (read: game mechanics) of other Pokemon, but it could simply be that the "soul" of a pokemon is in it, and it's DNA and defining traits common to all Pokemon shift some to fit that. Or it was 1stGen and the devs hadn't defined Pokemon as such.

More on-topic, Mewtwo was supposed to be Mew, human, Alakazam, and I believe Machoke or some such. I'm not sure where I remember this from, but it's somewhere.
If they tried cloning from Mewtwo they'd either make a glorious beast with a God-am-I problem, or an Eldritch Abomination of some kind. =/ I can't imagine them continuing that in the foreseeable future, however.

When I was little I thaught mewtwo was strongest then my bro told me deyxis was stronger after the movie came out
but as it turns out Arceus is stronger than deyoxis

how do we know if the scientists knew they had created the stongest pokemon?!?

If Chuck Noris was a pokemon He'd be strongest

Game Wise, I think Mewtwo is considered second best to Arceus. Deoxys Attack form's defence is too low, and mostly slower than Mewtwo, meaning Mewtwo would be superior. Anime wise, who knows?

The scientists aimed to make the strongest, and it pretty much is/was. It hasn't faced Deoxys or Arceus, so it's not 100% certain.

And What's Chuck Norris got to do with anything?

What on earth? I'm pretty sure he was just a failed mew clone. After all, if he was part Machoke, he'd look pretty different (i.e. not like a skin hugging a skeleton).

And I think you liek TV tropes :D

In the comics, he is mostly mew, part blaine. I like that explaination more.
