I definately would. I'm not embarrassed by things that I like, and a lot of people these days think that Pokemon's gotten 'old' now. I don't think that at all... It's still got a lot of different and new things going on. Anyways, post your honest answer here. I'm just curious to know how many loyal fans we still have left.

(I will definitely NOT defend the Pokemon Anime as I am sick of the "TR" blasting away stuff that it always contains.)

It would depend on who insulted it...if it were someone I knew and whose opinion I valued, I probably wouldn't say anything, or just kind of listen noncommitally. If it was just some loser kid I'd say something to the effect of "hey, the show is crap, sure, but the games are a lot of fun." *shrug*

That's right; imo the games are 100 times better than the anime.
(That's why I decided to make a website to the Pokemon Special manga which follows the storyline of the games.)

XD...I was actually in a chat room once making pok?mon references not realizing that the people in the room were devout pok?haters. after they insulted me and called me gay a couple times, I asked them, "before I go, may I ask you to justify your hatred to pok?mon and pok?fans like me?" their reply was something like, "They just gay...what else can we say?" In response to that, I said, "by being unable to fully justify your reasoning for disliking pok?mon, you have proven how ignorant you really are.", then I was booted out of the room by a chatroom mod XD

anyways..if someone did all this IRL, I really wouldn't care...they most likely wouldn't be talking to me. The people that I talk to the most know me as the pok?guru, and would only insult pok?mon in good humor...

I will say that I like it. Usually, they'll go "Really?! Why?" and I will be semi-truthful, saying how the anime was dumbed down in the dub and that the games are superior. They'll usually accept this like and move on, but if they continue to act stupid, then... i dunno really

I'm not eembarrased because i already told them i kinda like Pokemon. I don't care i they talk about it's their opinion. I think it's funny sometimes. And plus, i talk about stuff they like too, so we're even.

Normally I'm shy, and wouldn't really say anything if someone insulted something like a show. But with Pokemon, it's a completely different story. Even if my best friend said something mean about Pok?mon, (which I know she wouldn't, she likes it too) I'd still say something to her that would defend it. I do even when my mom says something, but usually hers are just jokes to tease me about how much I love it. XD Not many people around here hate it, so you don't get picked on. I wear my Pok?mon shirts to town all the time! o.o And plus, I'm homeschooled so I'm not bothered with peer pressure and stuff.

Mez was just kidden! but that would be fun! well my friend Andrew had his GBA SP at school last week and i noticed he had a red cartridge in it and i asked "What game ya got in there?" And he said "Its...um....Breath of Fire!" and then i said "But Breath of Fire aint red? is that..." and then Andrew walked away but it was Ruby and all this year hes said Pokemon was "Gay" just to keep his popularity! :D

HEH, how weird. I hate when people lie about something so unimportant, just to stay popular. Well, a lot that do that aren't popular anyways, so what's the point of keeping a reputation? I have a lot of friends, and I make them easily because I'm never mean to any strangers. And none of them have said anything hateful about me just because I like this Anime. *shrugs* I wouldn't care even if they did.

WoW! I totally agree, While the show is the most horrible thing and is the laughing stock, the game however, is the best thing pokemon is good for, My friends know I play the game, they just dont know i like pokemon, I dont really plan on Telling them..

Actually, the Anime is my favorite part of all of the Pok?mon things. Maybe a lot of people hate it, but I don't. The art quality is some of the best I've seen, it's funny, the character's are given very nice personalities, the music's good, and I like their voices. o_o *prepares for onslaught* Though a lot of people don't care for the English voices, I prefer them. Maybe that's because I've never heard the Japanese version, and don't know even 10 Japanese words. XD And this doesn't mean I don't like the games, I love them almost the same. I guess they're not my favorite because, number one, I'm not the best at them, and two, I like drawing so the Anim? art is fun to watch and copy their styles, etc.

And all of my friends love Pikachu too! ^_^ They think it's adorable.
