Let's see:
Light Type: Just as Dark Type Pokemon are all about darkness and evilness, Light Types are about purity and kindness i.e. the polar opposite of Dark Type. It would be weak to Dark but Dark would be weak to it. Pokemon like Milotic, Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss would be light type.
Star Type: These are all spacial Pokemon They would be strong to Ground Type (i.e. space is bigger than Earth) and would have realtively no weakness. Pokemon like Clefariy, Jirachi, Deoxys, Dialga and Palkia would be star type.
Virtual Type: These are Pokemon involved with virtual reality, computers and digital information. They would have an immunity to normal types. Pokemon like Porygon. Porygon2, and Porygon-Z would be Virtual Type.
Wind Type: Flying Pokemon fly (i.e. bird-like Pokemon) but Wind Types are involved with air itself. Flying Types would be weak against it as would Fire Types but Rock Types would be strong against it. Many normal/flaying Pokemon are now Wind/Flying
Gas Type: These Pokemon are-as you can well guess-gaseous. They would be weak to Fire, Water, Wind, and Flying Types. Pokemon like Gastly, Haunter, Koffing and Weezing would be Gas Type
Sound Type: These Pokemon are all about sound. Water would be weak to it (sound travels better through water) but would be weak against Wind and Flying Types. Pokemon like Jigglypuff, Whismur, Loudred, and Exploued would be Sound Type.
Wood Type: Just as there are Grass, Rock and Ground Types to represent the several major elements of the Earth's ground, Wood is the last element. It is strong to Grass, Rock and Ground because they all go together but is weak to Fire and water. Sudowoodo would be Wood Type.
Magic Type: To go along with Psychic Type, Magic Type Pokemon specialize in the other major form of telekinetic mind control-magic. Just like Psychic Types, they are weak to Fighting Types. Mr. Mime would be Magic Type.
Glass Type: Glass Type Pokemon are specialized in glass, crystal, and anything metallic as a companion to Steel Type. They would be weak against Fighting Type Pokemon. Bronzor would be Glass Type.
