If you could change one type...

I thought about just posting this in the Pokémon Typing Debate, but realized it was different enough. Over there, we've just talked about how some pokemon are the wrong type. Lots has been said about Gyarados not being a dragon. This question is a little bit different.

If you could change one pokemon typing, which pokemon would you change, and why? Keep in mind that you are only allowed one change. Which one?

For me, I'd change Luxray from an Electric to and Electric/Dark. It just seems to fit so well, and it would make Luxray even more useful than it already is on my team.

Maybe change Togepi to a pyschic type. If not togepi then either togekiss or togetic. Think giving a psyduck a head ache is asking for a death sentence...try po-ing a togekiss and see what you get!

Not at all, that would screw up the whole balance of the game in general. And your post has nothing to do with this thread

I think the poster meant the other way around. Venomoth as Grass / Poison. Shedinja as Grass / Ghost. Surskit as Grass / Water. Parasect as double Grass. That sort of thing.

But then again, we lose Parasect's ridiculous 8x weakness to Fire.

I would change Dragonite to a Normal|Dragon type, so that it could finally have some way of being superior to Mence at something, due to the fact that it would have an incredibly strong Extremespeed, and lack that horrible x4 ice weakness. Man, would that be fun.

I would maybe change Dunsparce to pure Dragon type, instead of just normal. Although it would destroy the holy Dunsparce strategy with Headbutt without STAB. Maybe Dragon AND normal? That would be awesome....

Come now, don't be silly. What would happen if a starter Pokémon was allowed to be part-Dragon type? That's bordering on the ridiculous, allowing such a powerful type so early on. The point of starters is that they are strong/weak to each other. Grass < Water < Fire < Grass etc.
If Fire/Flying suddenly becomes Fire/Dragon, well, that's just plain silly.
