Yea i agree with you i just think he's more of a dragon than a flying type. Hints" it learns dragon claw :P, but yea your right about the over-power




Also I think Ninetails should be Fire/Psychic or Fire/Ghost, because it learns confuse ray, and hypnosis.
 
I would make Yanmega a Dragon/Flying. Of course... I have a bunch of other things I'd like too change too.

and id change spiritomb to ghost/psychic (i just think it looks like it)
 
Gyarados should most definitely be part Dragon. I mean, seriously. It's obviously a giant dragon. That and it would be so sweet to lose that weakness to electric attacks and change it to neutral.

Crobat can also learn Confuse Ray and Hypnosis. Maybe it should be Poison/Psychic or Poison/Ghost instead. :O [/sarcasm]

I actually agree with Ninetales being Fire/Ghost but because its pokedex entries always tell of its longevity and mystical powers, not because of its movepool. XD

Also, yes to Luxray being Electric/Dark. I raised a Shinx in my first playthrough of Pearl under the assumption that Luxray was part dark-type because of an error on Serebii.net during DP's pre-release. XD
 
The first Pokemon that come to mind are Psyduck and Golduck. When I was younger I assumed they were water/psychic. When I realized they weren't I was a bit surprised. I figured they had to be since they knew a few psychic attacks.

Ninetales to Fire/Ghost, like it has been said already. Smart idea :D
Psyduck/Golduck to Water/Psychic?
Rhydon to Ground/Steel, even if Rhyperior doesn't change. I always wondered why they changed Magnemite/Magneton but not Rhydon.
Maybe Clefairy/Clefable to Normal/Psychic? They're pretty mystical creatures.
Luxray to Electric/Dark would be awesome.

I can't think of anything that is really weird.

Seviper from poison to Dark/Poison
Solrock to Fire/Psychic
Lunatone to Dark/Psychic
Huntail to dark/water
Gorebyss to psychic/water
Groudon to fire/ground
Luxray to Dark/electric

And I would make Gyarados a Water/Dragon type.
No sense in it being a Flying type if it can't know Fly.
That thing is dayumm sure big enough to use it!
But it can't for whatever reason. So I say change it.
 
If i had to pick one, I would have to go with my idea of Ninetails being Fire/Ghost. Not because its my idea....but comon that would be so cool to have a Fire/ghost pokemon, and one of the most diverse, but yea I love the Luxray idea

when i faught Lugia today it hit me how its neither water, or dragon...
i really think it should be either Water/Flying or Dragon/Flying, maybe Water/Dragon (but thats a stretch)

Mine is a really simple one change MAwile to Steel/Dark i know it is the only steel type we have thats pure (besides Registeel) but i think it suits Dark type.
 
Hoppip to Grass/Water. Just seems right for some reason.
